Its very very annoying if its true.
That was the bloody excuse he used time and again, to stymie us whenever a question was raised regarding zaha's omission. That he will be shipped out till season end to get game time and rectify his so called rustiness and make him ready for season next.

easy, Lumiere, we don't know what's really going on. Still, I can't imagine there being a future at Utd for Zaha.

I mean, you're in a kind of crisis, in which Moyes obviously cannot really bank on the old Fergie guard, so now would be a perfect moment to try raw young talent a bit.

Moyes does that with Januzaj, he doesn't do it AT ALL with Zaha, meanwhile you're on the hunt for Reus or some other top winger you can get your hands on.

The only thing that can mean for Zaha is that Moyes doesn't really rate him, so I guess he should move away - unless he wants to become another Nani that is.

Despite potentially missing out on a Champions League place and suffering their worst run of form since 2001, the manager feels the club are even more feared than before

David Moyes has dismissed claims Manchester United are a less-feared outfit following an inconsistent season, instead insisting the club is still the biggest in the world.

The Premier League champions are all but out of the title race this term and risk missing out on Champions League football for the first time, but the manager feels that the club's "aura" is, in fact, getting stronger.

"Manchester United are not only the biggest club in this country, but also the biggest club in the world," Moyes is quoted as saying by the Daily Mirror.

"Some of the results have not been what you want, but I wouldn’t say any of the aura is fading. In fact, I actually think the opposite."

Moyes has also been frustrated in the transfer window, with a string of players rejecting moves to Old Trafford in the summer and January target Leighton Baines reportedly close to agreeing a new Everton deal.

United's share price has reduced by £250 million in just four weeks, with many attributing poor results to the drop.

He continued: "I don’t see it being an issue with signing the big players - not at all. Not by my trips and the things I’m hearing. The amount of big players who want to join Manchester United is incredible.

"Players may want to go for the money to other clubs, but if you asked them what club they would really like to wear the badge of, they want to wear the badge of Manchester United.

"That’s because of the football club it is, because of all it stands for in world terms. The share price doesn’t affect the prestige of the club whatsoever. Players are not looking at the share price.

"What they are looking at is the football club and what it stands for in football and world terms. It’s renowned throughout the world. It’s much bigger than I thought from the outside.

"Everywhere you go, everybody knows the Manchester United manager - as I'm finding out. It's difficult to hide! Sir Alex Ferguson has drawn more attention to it because he was so famous and good at his job."

No need to overanalyse how scrub Zaha is. Moyes ain't playing him because he has inferior skills than Bebe.

It's true he hasn't had much of an opportunity to prove himself. However, one thing Moyes has done at United is trust in youth. He's already latched onto Januzaj's talent and is riding the youngster. At 18 years old, Januzaj is consistently getting game time over Young, Nani, Valencia, etc. The fact remains that at 21 (3 years older and with far more first-team experience), Zaha can't get a sniff of game time. This suggests that he's simply not ready, at least not at United. A loan might just do Zaha wonders.

Like I said, SAF left united with horrible timing and in even worse fashion leaving at the same time as Gill. Those are two of the most important figures in a £1.5bn organization leaving the reigns to two relatively inexperienced men in a crucial time for the Premier League.

People like to look at his managerial honors and, no doubt, it can't be argued that he's the greatest club manager ever but he did United no favors this way.
