David Moyes is a Football Genius

How he is fighting for a top-4 finish with Everton when year after year he has to sell to buy players and even then scramble for bargains and sometimes unwanted players is a phenomenal achievement. Doesn't always get the credit he deserves - and he deserves a lot.

Would be my choice to replace SAF at United once he retires - and who also is a fantasic manager by the way.

Cant see him ending up at Utd, it would be one step to far... although he is/has done a fantastic job for Everton

I hope you are with me on the fact that he is one of the most overrated managers in the history of the PL today. Does f**k all with Everton yearly and gets praised as if he is the second coming of Shanks.

Funny how Liverpool fans are the only ones who don't rate him

He's done a fantastic job, end of.

He's took them from relegation battlers to contending for European spots every season in last 4-5 years and a some good cup runs in between.

Its Everton ffs they have no right being as high as they do.

Just give him some credit instead of playing down his accomplishments all the time.

The press and fans alike rate him as if he has done wonders with Everton despite playing awful football over the years, winning zilch since his tenure in being the 3rd longest serving manager in the PL, having outdated tactical methods and being named as the heir to Ferguson.

Shoe string budget when he spent 16M on Fellaini in 2008, 10M on Baliendeteniev a year after, then 7M on Jelavic, 6M on Heitinga, etc.

He hasn't had top 4 budget, but people talk as he's had Blackpool's budget.

Oh and Sepi when talking about what he's spent you have to consider what he sold.

In March 2012 he had a net spend of 2.5m, now i don't know exactly what it is now but none the less that is the very definition of a shoe string budget.

Mole, I seem to remember you talking about what "utter nonsense" discussions of net spend are when LFC fans were pointing out that ours was basically equal to Everton's under H&G. Funny how times change.

He doesn't make mistakes in the market, he saves up like a 12yo got her fab toy..
