I said we havent conceded lately due to improved set piece defending which used to be a pain in the backside for us. And this nomatter what players are playing. we still have not so good defenders tho mind you but its a matter of partnership imho.

Yeah, agreed Potential. I don't know why he is like that, he usually is more composed vs. smaller teams.

Anyway, it was a good game. Hopefully this game means Varane get's to start from here on.

Liked the game. Glad we have the upper hand for the return. Great defending by Pique and Varane (still dont see that he is better then our defenders). Messi and Ronaldo invisible the entire game.

I can't hate on varane, he's a goal scoring defender and I love watching them, the likes of pique, puyol, even dede. It looks like we can begin to include Raphael.
But I still can't rate him higher than piqué.

I guess that mou wont be crying about the referee this time, eh? you know with Messi having a 1-on-1 with the keeper wrongly called for offside and Carvalho intentionaly touching the ball with his hand just outside the real madrid penalty, a minute before real madrids equalizer...

Sometimes they give you and sometimes they take it away.. I just hope that Mourinho finally figures that out..

Referee mistakes gets me annoyed but we still have the advantage... IMO its a good result for Madrid as well. They will probably have a stronger side in the next meeting which could definately trouble us...

I didnt even criticize the referee or implied that Real Madrid bought the referee, I just said that sometimes they give you and sometimes they take from you. Am I wrong when I say that?
