I wouldn't mind coneding 1-2 and score 4-5 a la nowadays

well the difference there is the defence starting did not matter for us

besides isnt it your left and right backs that have been the ones to blame for some of the goals you guys have conceded besides marchereano ofcourse who you guys like to scapegoat

I disagree. by conceding more goals you are effectively expecting the attackers to do more work than they need and it only shows the flaws in your defensive set up when defending counter and setpieces etc

not to mention goals matter in cup games anyways so might as well get used to not conceding to prepare yourself for the game. it will also play a part in scaring other teams that are to play you. I mean at the start of the season with how frequently we conceded I never saw teams so motivated to beat us. it was like a bomb that blew up in our faces. now compare that to how for example getafe tufned up this weekend. they came out all tame and defensive. thats what we had last season buf lacked this
