Holtby can play CM...
With Sandro out I could see him playing there rather than CAM. Or with Dembele in a 4-4-2.
Apparently Malaga want JDS on loan. Source: looking at the Goal.com transfer talk thing.

Man City & AC Milan held talks today over Balotelli. €24m (inc add-ons) asking price not yet met. Milan to fund full salary #bbctransfernews
Sky Italia: The reports about about Juventus having joined the race for Balotelli aren't true.
David Ornstein @bbcsport_david
City also in talks with Juventus over Balotelli but will only sell if deal is right for them. He is with squad ahead of QPR

Playing as a CM and being one is totally different.... Anita can play as a fullback but he isn't one.
Anyway that's the last i will say on this subject.

According to Sportitalia, Santos are still hoping to sign AC Milan 28 year old forward Robinho.

Inter Milan will learn this morning the price for Corinthians midfielder Paulinho.
Sky Italia says an Inter representative flew to Brazil last night for face-to-face talks with Corinthians officials.
Inter president Massimo Moratti wants a final price, including clauses, agents' fees and player wages, before committing to serious negotiations.

Juve just signed Anelka and have some kind of deal in place for Llorente, so why would they be after Balo?urbaNRoots wrote:David Ornstein @bbcsport_david

Re: January Transfer Rumours 3
Arsenal are ready to pay €12M for Barcelona striker David Villa before the transfer window slams shut, according to Spanish daily AS.
The Gunners have been consistently linked with Villa this month, despite Barcelona repeatedly indicating that he will stay put at the Camp Nou.
Arsenal are firming that interest up though by letting it be known that they will pay €12M for the 31-year-old, which may cause Barcelona to re-think their stance.
Villa has struggled to command a regular first team spot at Barcelona since he suffered a broken leg in December 2011, at the FIFA Club World Cup.
The former Valencia man is understood to be open to moving to the Emirates Stadium.
Villa wants to push his case for inclusion in Vicente del Bosque’s Spain squad that will contest the Confederations Cup this coming summer, and regular first team football at Arsenal would help.
However, it is also clear that Villa has a number of other admirers, who want him on their books for next season.
At €12M though, Arsenal would consider snaring Villa to be something of a coup, if Barcelona will sell at this late hour in the transfer window.
-------------------
In-demand midfielder Etienne Capoue has started a late transfer battle for his signature by indicating he wants to leave current club Toulouse.
According to France Football, the 24-year-old is keen to follow Moussa Sissoko out of the Toulouse exit door, and has a number of sides tracking him.
Sissoko recently moved from Toulouse to English Premier League club Newcastle and, with three of Capoue’s major suitors in England, he could yet follow his former team-mate across the channel.
Keen on the midfielder are QPR, who missed out on Yann M’Vila this month, Tottenham Hotspur and Everton, while in France, Paris Saint-Germain are not ignorant of the player’s talents.
Toulouse president Olivier Sadran will not let France international Capoue leave on the cheap though.
Sadran is believed to want around the €16M mark for the 24-year-old, who is under contract at Toulouse until 2015.
Losing the defensively-minded midfielder would be a big blow for Toulouse coach Alain Casanova, who has fielded Capoue 20 times in Ligue 1 this season.

Not surprising, his talents are wasted at FC Dallas.
Looks like Stoke got their man, pending a physical of course

Balo to Milan is virtually done. He's apparently txted a close friend in Italy that he is going to Milan. The negotiations are still continuing and the fee will be around 22 mil. Pretty expensive for a nutcase like him, albeit a talented nutcase. Really wish Berlu would shell 22 mil on some decent defenders sometime soon.

Balotelli is just a glorified penalty taker who has a good game once in every 5 games.Plus he causes disharmony on and off the field, just watch him try and put a bib on he clearly has a very low IQ,if he weren't good at kicking a football he would probably be lying in a gutter somewhere.I hope he fails at Milan and he doesn't play for Italia any more.
Can't believe Milan have been trying to save money selling class players like Zlatan and Silva then they spend £22 million on him.

Balotelli will single-handedly carry Milan to a CL spot. Build the team around him and El Shaarawy and they're going to be a lot stronger than they were in attack than just having Ibra - and Pato when fit. And that's coming from a massive Ibra fan.

Are you serious? Ibra is ten times the player Balo will ever be.Robinho and Ibra was a better patnership than anything Milan can do now,Robinho and Ibra were always on the same wavelength and linked up really well.Robinho didn't score enough but Ibra made up for by been a consistent goal scorer, something which Balo isn't.Ibra was used as a foil as well for oncoming runners like Boeting and Nocerino to make runs past him and they chipped in with goals, without Ibra they wouldn't have scored half as many.
Zlatan made that team twice as good as it would have been without him,he is a consistent goal scorer combined with a playmaker who can hold the ball up too and be the catalyst with any attack.

Re: January Transfer Rumours 3
I'm sorry, but did you follow Ibra a decade ago?
He was in the same boat as Balotelli. He was talented but many teams were scared of his signature due to his attitude. He also had a very similiar goal to game ratio than Mario has now.
And if you think Balotelli only scores penalties you're simply deluded.

Niang and SES are twice the partnership Ibra had with anybody during his time at Milan. With SES, Niang and Balo we have 3 crests in the front 3!

I don't support Milan so I am not THAT bothered,I am just letting my feelings be known. He will probably improve them, but he is not worth that money or even the hassle of having him in your squad.
YNWA are you saying Balotelli is in the same league as Zlatan in terms of talent? If so you are the one who is deluded, like I said a glorified penalty taker who has a good game once in every five games.
