Re: January Transfer Rumours 3
According to transfer market expert Alfredo Pedullà, Juventus and O.L. have not yet found an agreement for the transfer to Turin of 29 year old Lisandro Lopez, as the French club requires a warranty regarding the signing on permanent deal of the player at the end of the season. In any case, the Serie A champions'Sports Director Fabio Paratici will be tomorrow in France to try to speed-up the negotiation.

If he can't defend, he is not very different to Arteta, isn't he?

Arteta is an able average defender.
So are the Zaha to Yanited rumours legit? Wonder where Nani's off to if that's the case.

Re: January Transfer Rumours 3
Harry Redknapp looks set to solve some of his central defensive issues, as Queens Park Rangers chase a deal for Porto defender Rolando.
With Ryan Nelsen now set to depart for Toronto FC after Tuesday's match against Manchester City and the club already lacking in that area, Redknapp has been working hard to bring in the right centre-half since arriving at the club.
Rolando, 27, has won 18 caps for Portugal and has attracted interest from a number of Serie A clubs. He has also told Porto that he wants to leave.
As such, it is understood that the Superliga club's financial director met QPR representatives on Wednesday night to discuss terms. Rolando himself, however, is still unsure of whether he wants a move to England or Italy.
Redknapp still has around £12 million to spend in this window and retains an interest in Blackburn Rovers' Martin Olsson, despite seeing a bid for the defender rejected earlier this month, as well as the Swede's team-mate, Scott Dann.
QPR have also been weighing up whether to take Chelsea's Florent Malouda, who would be available on a free, while on Thursday it was claimed by K-League side Chunnam Dragons that South Korea international Yun Suk-Young is bound for Loftus Road.
"He is expected to sign a contract with the QPR if he passes the test," read a short statement from the player's current club.

“I have already signed the contract. As soon as the tournament ends, I will go straight to Turin. I’ll fight to earn my place and I am certain with God’s grace it will go well.”

Re: January Transfer Rumours 3
Sky Sports understands Norwich are eyeing an ambitious move for Sporting Lisbon striker Ricky van Wolfswinkel.
Norwich boss Chris Hughton is in the market for a new striker and has made bids for Celtic's Gary Hooper and Swansea's Danny Graham.
Hughton has been frustrated in his attempts to land either Hooper or Graham and he is now thought to have turned his attentions to Dutch ace van Wolfswinkel.
Van Wolfswinkel has been linked with a move to England and the Premier League for some time with the likes of Tottenham, Liverpool and Newcastle all credited with an interest in the player.
The 23-year-old has impressed for Sporting since his arrival from Fc Utrecht in the summer of 2011.
However, with Sporting struggling in eighth spot in the Portuguese Primera Liga they could face a fight to keep hold of him during this month's transfer window.
Hughton is keen to bring in a proven striker and he is hoping to be given the backing to strike a deal for van Wolfswinkel in what would be a major coup for Norwich.

Re: January Transfer Rumours 3
Inter have decided to sell highly-rated Brazilian midfielder Philippe Coutinho to fund a bid for Corinthians schemer Paulinho, according to Sky Italia.
The Nerazzurri have been wrestling with whether to sell the 20-year-old, who is wanted by two English Premier League sides in the shape of Liverpool and Southampton, with the club hoping that they could move Ricardo Alvarez on instead to bring in funds.
But the chance of realising a fee for Alvarez is more difficult and he cannot command the same amount as Coutinho.
Inter have an offers on the table for the Brazilian, with Liverpool having bid €9M, while Southampton have offered €12M and could even move up to €13M, which the Nerazzurri would take.
Coutinho is thought to prefer a move to Liverpool if he must exit Inter, although there is an attraction to working under Mauricio Pochettino at Southampton, who coached the Brazilian when he spent time on loan at Espanyol last season.
Inter look likely to need to pay €18M to sign Paulinho from world champions Corinthians, with the player desperately wanted at the San Siro by the club.

How do you even come to this conclusion ? Even with the current forwardline i still think we would go through. Not saying Celtic dont have a chance ,they do but i believe a striker signing or not ,it doesnt change anything.
He would only be brought in here as a depth option if reports are to be true either ways.

Anelka wouldn't start anyway even if Juve buys him.... he would just be replacing Bendtner as perennial bench warmer.

Comparison between wilfried zaha and thomas ince, both playing in the same league. I dont know in what circumstances and what kind of team both of them play. Whatever but English market is really crazy, paying 13m for zaha whereas ince was/is liverpool target.
GAMES GOALS ASSISTS SHOTS
thomas ince 26 13 10 72
wilfried zaha 27 5 4 42

Ince is miles better than Zaha and everyone in England knows it.....
That price for Zaha is an absolute joke, i wouldn't pay more than 5m for him anything more is a rip off.
But i suppose when you're getting 400m in every year you don't care about money.

Really? I always rated Insua as a player with good potential and since I have seen him play a couple of time for Sporting and he looked really good, like he improved massively.
But Athletico have Filipe Luis at LB who is a beast,he has been so good he has earned himself a place in the Brazil squad. So this doesn't make sense unless Insua is used at back up,if so then he would be really good for a back up as there isn't much cover at the moment.I just read it's for only 3 .5 million Euros which is great business.
I am still pissed off that that idiot Hodgson sold him,he wanted to sell Lucas as well but thankfully was told no by the club.
And Gourcuff is very talented but he is weak mentally,I would be surprised if he would fit in with a hard working team like Athletico.Be interesting to see if Simeone can mold him into a team player though.I was hoping Athletico would buy Diego back instead,at times this season they have lacked a bit of guile in the middle which he added last season.
