Sagna was a physical beast in his prime and his game was sort of centered around that. He's turning 30 in a month, there's no way Arsenal will be seeing Sagna of old. Players age and they turn to shite, that's just the way of life.

Am I? Ok, seems not everyone thinks so. I'm sorry so many Arsenal players are not good enough, but it's the truth.
What games, exactly, have you watched of him to come to such a conclusive decision? Please don't tell me the last two games

Jenkinson has outperformed Sagna this season. I dont have any qualms about making that statement.

Sagna is still pretty decent but provides absolutely nothing going forward.

When will this 'he offers nothing offensively" myth stop? He dominates the whole flank nowadays with Walcott or Chamberlain cutting in all the time and his crossing is better than ever. Actually he's better offensively than defensively this season.

Besides... Jenkinson offers even less offensively, other than energy/grit/steel nothing else... his crossing/passing at best is Championship quality.

Sagna still needs more time to regain his form. Not fair to judge him based on the last few games he had, which weren't great performances by any means..

When on form, he's a WC RB no doubt about it. Top player

I don't agree that he offers nothing going forward. He used to be our best crosser and most of our attacks came from his flank and him bursting forward with his speed and delivering the ball into the box.

I agree with Jay and Aggerswagger that he's slowed down and lost speed. He's not getting younger and injuries have hampered his form. He needs time and we need to give him time to see if he can regain top form. There's still a possibility.

Jenkinson has been great for us this season, but Sagna on top form is WC. Whether he will reach that level again after his injuries..only time will tell but let's hope so. If not, at least we have Jenks who is solid already and can still improve a lot

Sagna is easily WC when in form. Like someone said, he suffered two leg breaks in space of 2 years. It's never easy to come back.

We have lost just one game in 10 when he has started. Won 70% of them. He is not and never was a problem

Sagna is still better than all right backs bar Rooney.
