Came across this "Sandpeople" track during my comute to work this morning - instead of taking 2 trains, I take one and walk 5-6 avenues to the Eastside (less time on a packed train and more time to enjoy music as I take in the scenery/people - I will not be a robot to society!) But I will save that for a thread or something like that, I just want to share this track in hopes that you will listen to it (I feel the odds of people listening to every track slim when I post 6).

A lot of sampling from Xaphoon Jones, not sure how I feel about that. I do not mind sampling, I just prefer when a producer creates something unique on his own - I understand the want to sample and I am certain I could/will have some fun with it in the future.

I appreciate the feedback and look forward to seeing you post some of your own stuff in the future. Music is one of my main passions and I am always on the lookout for new artists - I try to stay away from mainstream because of the effect it has on the artists message. Music is all about personality and staying true to what you believe in (just my opinion).

Benny Freestyles: Independent Hip-Hop

First came across this guy this morning via Thomas Prime and I really was enjoying the vibe. He seems to focus a lot of his rhymes around marijuana, I do not have an issue with that as it seems to be something he is passionate about. I wish America could let go of the stigma often associated with marijuana; I would like to think that I would rarely (if ever) rap about smoking, I think there are more important messages to get across if I decided to write and share my music.
