You know, the Lakers really do have to do something.

With the team they have, they cant aim to just have a first round exit. Because even if they make the playoffs, thats all they will get.

You cant hope to keep Howard, have at the very least a top 5 player in the game in Kobe with Nash and max contract Gasol and not do better...they have to do something, anything...at this point, change for the sake of change.

What do you guys think the chances are Howard resigns to this?

I don't know...if he wants to go to Brooklyn I'd happily trade him for Lopez and a wing. He can't go to Brooklyn without a sign and trade.

I just hope they figure it out.

Miami outscored us by 40 in the paint the other day.

That's just stupid.

What are Howard's options? Atalnta? Dallas? Not quite sure if he'd sign for either of those.

Why not? Those are the 2 best bets. He's from ATL. If the Lakers don't trade him, there's not many other realistic options with cap space.

Celtics are so frustrating right now. About to lose another game to Detroit.

Drummond killed us: 16/7. Doc tried hack-a-Drum 3 times at various points and he went 2-2, 1-2 and 2-2. He'll be a serviceable ft shooter at some point.

Doc was pissed afterward: "if we don't play better, we're going to get some guys out of here" Shocked

I read somewhere Barbosa requested a trade or to be waived or something like that. Something to do with his family.

Ainge said it wasn't true. To me that means that he probably did request a trade, but maybe Ainge told him he's gunna start to play more, idk.

Rockets @ Bobcats was a really entertaining game. Rockets snapped their losing streak. Harden had a rough shooting night but was getting into the lane at will, 19-21 free throws.

Grizzlies traded Speights, Ellington and Selby to the Cavs for Jon Leuer

At first I was like what are they doing, but I guess it saves them 4m so they don't need to move Rudy

Yeah they weakened their bench quite a bit. Ellington is a loss as well.
