Re: January Transfer Rumours
Yeah Sissoko is basically a poor mans Yaya.
Also i agree completely with you we need a winger to replace Jonas.
We have been linked with Tom Ince a lot and that wpuld be good ok he's no world beater but at least he has ability and a goal threat.
Something Jonas does not have, it will also mean Ben Arfa will have someone to take the attention from him so he isn't triple marked all the time.
Because before his injury lets be real he was our only threat
After that it depends what happens to Ba as i'd expect him to be replaced.
Even if Ba and Tiote was sold with Ba we have no control over.... i would be happy if we signed Douglas, Debuchy, Sissoko and a winger or inside forward ( who can play up top and outwide)
Ba's rumored replacement is Remy and quite frankly thats ideal, Allows Cisse to play his favoured role, gives us pace, directness and dribbling out wide with goal threat and creativity and if Cisse ever gets injured Remy can play through the middle.
All ifs and buts at the moment tho.

Turan:
Bulut, who also represents Atletico midfielder Belozoglu Emre, told Turkish television channel TRT: "I have wanted to see him play for another team in another league and Arda also wants to play for another club, to live a different experience. We are working now to make it happen.
"Atletico know what our intention is. If all goes well, Arda will leave the Madrid club at the end of this season."
Bulut was coy on his client's possible destination, but claimed there are only a handful of clubs who could afford to sign the 25-year-old.
"There are only five teams in Europe who can bear the cost of the transfer of Arda and he will leave for one those five clubs," he added.

I understand you are a fan of Boateng so wouldn't you play Javi in CB? (who happens to be better at CB than any Bayern player) whilst the midfield destroyer would be allowed more chances in midfield. Bayern would miss Javi's all round defensive position, passing and vision but Gustavo is no slouch. Until Badstuber makes his awaited return playing Javi at CB would be ideal instead of investing in a new CB.

Re: January Transfer Rumours
Boateng is much more better than Badstuber and Javi as CB, but we can do better by signing a new CB for safety net. Badstuber is injured Boateng is suspended, so we need a powerful CB like Papa playing for bremen. That way we will have 5good CBs, we deserves it.

I comprehend you are self-confessed Bayern/Bundesliga ultra which also leads me to conclusion based on many factors that you did not watch Athletic Club last year where Javi spent majority of the time as CB. So I cannot understand how a much criticized Boateng is clearly superior to a highly renowned (at CB) Javi Martinez. Even if by some chance Boateng is superior to Javi at CB, then placing Javi beside wouldn't exactly be a disaster considering how highly you rate Boateng whereas half if not more of this forum will tell you Javi as CB would be a better choice.
I can understand your sentiments out of gaining depth for Bayern's back line woes but to me it would be impractical and potentially ruining the already fine balance of Bayern's defensive line.

Re: January Transfer Rumours
As I've said before, I've never seen Remy on the LW for Marseille. I think he has the skills to be an inside forward, but I'm not sure how he'd combine with Cisse there. I honestly think he'd be better through the center, replacing Cisse (won't happen though). With Cisse in the center, I think you might be better served going after someone more creative. Dmitri Payet comes to mind, but that's just an example.Great Leader Sprucenuce wrote:Yeah Sissoko is basically a poor mans Yaya.

Re: January Transfer Rumours
If we are to replace Ba he has to be replaced with someone who can play through the centre and wide left.
Remy has done that and has the skillset to do so and seems to be the no 1 choice of the club.
None the less i understand where you are coming from because most of his wide performances have come on the right.
But i do know one thing that Remy on the left is a lot better prospect than any of our current forwards and provides a better balance than what we have currently.
As long as Ba is replaced with a direct inside forward who can play wide and up top with good movement, dribbling and pace it should be a positive move.

AS suggests it would take a bid of £160m to prise Ronaldo away from the Bernabeu.

I don't believe that Lucio has played in the CL this year if I am correct. He would add good depth for the rest of the season and helps us in the upcoming CL rounds with Badstuber gone and Boateng suspended. The in the summer you could get rid of Lucio and DvB and go after a guy like Howedes.

Fairly sure Lucio has played, I remember him being subbed in against Nordsjaelland

Lucio can't play in Champions league, so we must bring in a powerful CB.

Demba Ba:
"Arsenal are one of these teams who make you dream," Ba told Canal+.
"I have nothing to say about the speculation. Nothing is about to happen.
"The press know Arsenal need another striker and also know about my release clause, and make their own mind up about it."

Low might come in for Mourinho reports are saying in the January Market but it looks unlikely. Only Chelsea's twit would do that...

Jogi Löw leaving the German NT before 2014? I find that extremely unlikely. He wants to win the WorldCup with Germany first ^^

I was only teasing, I think he's a great manager to be honest, but maybe a little stubborn and arrogant (mainly his approach against Italy in the Euro, I couldn't believe how that game played out)

Please just don't use it as often as the gorilla + lawnmower gif, my eyes are burning.
Also so that this post contributes to the thread, Allegri has stated that Robinho wants to leave, effectively confirming a transfer to Santos I would expect, pending terms.
