United's draw today means they have to win every remaining game this season to break Chelsea's record points total in 2005

Seriously though, looking at the remain fixtures, I am worried. We have one easy game left in Aston Villa. Three hard matches in Swansea, Liverpool and Everton and two big clashes against United and Spurs.

We will seriously have to be at our best every game to get the points. I won't mind losing to United but the rest are must win games if we want to beat Spurs or Arsenal to 4th spot. With 1 game in hand over Arsenal and 3 points clear over Spurs, we can only afford to lose one of the remaining games, ideally. Unless we count on the other two dropping points.

They're tough matches but we have the quality to win them. It's in our own hands now and if we cock it up, we'll have no one to blame but ourselves.

exactly, but going off this season, anything can happen, in previous years I'd be certain of getting atleast 12 points out of those matches, now, I'd say only 3-6 is certain.

Arsenal's toughest game is against United, the rest they could win. Fullham, United, QPR Wigan and last Newcastle.

Spurs play City, Wigan Soton, Chelsea, Stoke and Sunderland. Two difficult games for them, the rest are winnable.

Not at all re Spurs. Wigan is always a tough game (nearly got a draw at City tonight), Soton could be tricky as they've been brilliant lately, Stoke are fighting for their lives and the last game of the season away to Sunderland could be one that decides whether the mackems stay up or not. There are no easy games and especially not a bunch at the end of the season against teams fighting for their lives.

No but certainly games I would prefer to play than ours, Everton, Spurs and Liverpool are fighting for Europe, United are dominant, Swansea have been really good of late and Villa will want any points they can get.

Swansea have been garbage since their Minnie Mouse Cup win. The other games are tough but like I said, we have the quality to win them and it's completely in our hands. If we want to be in the CL next season we have to earn it.

I'd rather not have to earn it though.

We should beat Swansea and Villa, less likely to be Everton Liverpool and Spurs, although are better than them all and United at OT will be next to impossible.

We've outplayed United every time we've played them this season. Beat them in the League Cup, would have beaten them in the League if not for Prattenburg, and should have won at OT in the FAC last month as well. Never know what could happen as they've been average lately themselves.

I suppose it would be easier if they have won the title by then.

Not at all but everyone plays the same 38 games in a season. If we hadn't dropped points to so many relegation contenders like Southampton (2), Southampton away (3), Reading (2), QPR (3), Newcastle (3), etc., we'd not only be assured Top 4, we'd be in 2nd right now.
