Manchester United vs Arsenal
1--0 and Manchester United completely dominating the game...
I hate to admit it but Robin made the right choice. Arsenal look completely lost. The Cleverley-Wilshere debate doesn't seem so far fetched now as well. Wilshere has done nothing.

Re: Manchester United vs Arsenal
This is why I can never accept Manchester United as a club of honour. How has Michael carrick not gotten a card at all? Wilshere got on on his first bad challenge!

Arteta has been very good in his new deployed deep lying role.

I can't in good conscience watch this game anymore. Referee has been a disgrace.

Re: Manchester United vs Arsenal
really poor time for me to start watching EPL............. pretty boring game so far
Re: Manchester United vs Arsenal
Give Wilshere a break. He's only just returned from a long term injury. And he's been one of Arsenal's better players. Although that's not saying much

Re: Manchester United vs Arsenal
Credit to United. Some slick one-touch football at times and they have done excellently to keep Arsenal quiet. Let's see if those legs can last 90 minutes.
Re: Manchester United vs Arsenal
Rooney's missed penalty left Arsenal some hope, but it's hard to score if you get no shots on goal.

Yawn. He's been fine, what are you on about? I hope you aren't complaining about that clear penalty decision.

Re: Manchester United vs Arsenal
It angers me that a team like Arsenal would need a 20-year old who's just come back from a season-long injury to bail them out. Some of the players on the pitch don't deserve to play for a big team like Arsenal.silver wrote:Give Wilshere a break. He's only just returned from a long term injury. That's a bit of an overreaction. United simply are the better team plus they are at home. Because Arsenal are losing here doesn't mean their players don't deserve to play for the club.

It's only 1-0 and United have a tendency to throw away lead nowadays.

Hate to see an Ajax player suffer this much, especially against (excuse my french) and ex-Feyenoord scumbag like Robin

Re: Manchester United vs Arsenal
This scofreline could have neen double figures if United were anywhere near as ruthless as the corresponding fixture last season. Fortunately it isn't.

Arsenal about as threatening in this game as a 5-year-old with a plastic shovel.

United vs Arsenal, total schoolboy football all around?
Im watching the game and there is about 60 or so minutes on the clock and maybe I'm jinxing myself but this has been one of the worst games I have ever seen in a long time from 2 "European Powerhouses".
The passing is terrible, the movement is awful, the shooting is well not really happening but when it does is awful as well. The mistakes all over the field only capitalized on once the players first touches are awful the possession is terrible and this is for both teams I don't care if Man U is going to win there playing terribly.
I will admit these types of EPL games between the "big boys" in the league are usually entertaining even if it is kick and chase football.
But the quality of football is just well not acceptable. From a La Liga fan this is some of what turns me off about the EPL even though I do like to watch the league but what gets lost in the exciting games is the lack of technical skills in some of these teams and today for whatever reason it's showing up from 2 teams you wouldn't expect it from.
I don't really care what the score is at the end and if Man U wins it's not because they played great and if Arsenal comes back the same goes for them. Really, I want these two hours of my life back.
This is just total rubbish, I mean they can't even complete 5 yard passes.
I was excited for this game and wow I think it's pretty safe to say these teams are Champions League cannon fodder.

Not at all, comfortably the brightest player in the arsenal team, but clearly no where near his best.

What did it change? Zero shots on target before the red, zero on target after it.
