Laudrup had a better footballing brain, was more two footed, the best vision and final passing I have ever seen and could dribble round a whole team. The difference, Messi is the main act and Laudrup is a great supporting act.

Did anyone here watch Laudrup play? The man had the temperment of a pregnanat woman ffs. He flopped at Juve and needed Cruyff's system to succeed. He was hailed as Platini's heir and failed badly, so badly that the Barcelona management wondered if Cruyff had gone mad for his signing. Such a great player he wasn't even on the becnh when Milanista demolished cruyff 4-0.

Messi is a level above him. The gap is so big it's like throwing a hotdog down a hallway ffs.
