Maybe he will make them pass the ball forward instead of the possession-based catenaccio Rodgers believes in

Re: Michael Laudrup to Swansea
great coach
he was forced out of Mallorca because of politics but he really can get the best of a team
his style is not tiki taka. His teams are exceedingly hard to beat because they will attack you like a hound of hungry wolves. Bayern were almost beaten by his Getafe side. he helped develop players like De la Red, Granero. Expect an all round young side similar to what Rodgers had except more gung-ho

Andreas just became Danish champion with FC Nordsjælland, so he will play in the group stages of the champions league this upcoming season

Re: Michael Laudrup to Swansea
It will be interesting to see their transition. They've played the Rodgers (and Martinez) tiki-taka for a while now, and the squad is set up to maximize that style of football. They also don't have the financial capability to overhaul the squad. For example, Gylfi Sigurdsson was set to be their record signing, prior to changing his mind. The transfer was reportedly 6.8 million and had almost doubled the previous record.
Best of luck to him, but it could be a rough transition. I would expect them to struggle for several matches while they get comfortable with Laudrup's style. Hopefully, it doesn't irreparably damage their campaign next season.
