Ladrup beat madrid 5-0, next season he transfered to madrid and beat barca 5-0. When he didn't play in CL final barca lost 4-0. Laudrup was the steering wheel of his teams.

Laudrup. One of the best midfielders of all time, tremendous passing and vision and insane dribbling skills.

I would say that Laudrup was truly the linchpin of any team he played for, the one player you couldnt afford to lose.
So i think i would rate him higher, if given the choice of building a team around someone, i pick Laudrup. a bit unfair tho, since he is a midfielder

Different players but Laudrup I think was better. Ronaldo still young though.

I'm being deadly serious. Laudrup was just a better football player. Messi is better at dribbling, just about, that's about it really. Laudrup is more two footed, better passing and vision and had a far better footballing brain.

Depends what you are looking for in a player really... I would take Messi all day, don't know about CR7... I like his game but he's one selfish SOB
