Barely premiered this past weekend, i suggested you jump the wagon and start watching

DC bringing out some good TV shows

i think there were many loopholes.

how did he learn to hack?

where did he get the bow?

I believe the show will be flashing back to his time on the island bit by bit as the season progresses....we have already been able to piece together how he got to the island just based on that 1st episode. That's too good of an arc not to do in the other episodes.

The 1st episode had that grim, dour look that we saw in the recent Batman movies combined with a very similar vibe that we saw with Smallville. This show will probably be similar to that, but slightly darker.

Overall, very solid opening episode. Looking forward to seeing how he became the badass he came back as.

tbh I'm not completely sold on the acting from the first episode. But I guess the parkour/martial arts stuff and the beautiful women make up for the acting.

Cassidy/Laurel is hot

acting isn't the best although still got a decent plot, better than most of the crap on TV that's for sure lol

Got renewed for a full 22-episode season. That's always good news.

I think this show is going to get much better than it already is.

I'd hope so, McLewis... as it is it just isn't very good.

Watched first 3 episodes. good show but it can be better.

I personally didn't think Smallville was any good until at least the 4th season. With the way Arrow has started, I think it's on the right track.

Watched the pilot

It surpassed my expectations on how awful it would be.

I liked Smallville when I was younger, didn't follow the later seasons..but this...this just stunk from what I saw.

There's potential but they aren't tapping it.

Nice visuals but corny overdone dialouge and archetypal charachters,plots and seemingly arcs.

All with the exception of his history.

That I'm interested in seeing still.

The second ep killed whatever interest I had left.

The whole Idea of someone using arrow against guns in 2012 is stupid.

This show isn't even that good. I don't even know why created this thread. My judgement got clouded by the hot chicks and the parties in the first ep. Meh acting, meh concept, meh storyline.

Ehh this episode was better than what I've seen so far.

Acting is still rather wooden though, but the season is shaping up nicely. The flashbacks continue to be the highlight at this point.

The only thing that makes this show worth watching is the retrospective view, which is done nicely. Other than that, it remains a show with average actors being baled out by action scenes and chicks.

I'll continue watching it till the end of the first season, but if this trend continues I don't think I'll be the only one who stops being bothered.

I stopped watching after 3rd episode. In thinking about giving the first season a shot again but i don't think i can take the dullness of the actors.

Honestly, I think this latest episode was one of the better ones thus far. There was a bit more personality between Oliver and his sister with their banter and the final scene with him and his mom was well done too. I think a lot of the woodenness of the acting in this show comes with Oliver's encounters with Laurel and his dialogue as the Hood. I think we'll see less and less of the this dynamic just as we saw less and less of Clark and Lana on Smallville, which greatly improved that show.

I think Arrow is a great show, I like the storyline and the action. There's a good amount of suspense and the flashbacks are used brilliantly. The romantic undertones have also impressed me, can't wait for the next episode.
