He's improved so much since the start for sure, that was cringe sometimes. Nothing can be said about his physicality in the role, guy's a beast physically.

Amell has improved A LOT. He was absolutely cringeworthy in the first half of season 1. But he improved over the 2 years and now is one of the better actors. He is pretty limited with the expressions but what he does good, he does pretty good.

I was a critic of Diggle because he had no variety. He had a monotone voice. But like Amell he has improved as well. Now he can deliver dialogues which actually shows emotion. Although I won't be surprised if he ends up dead in a season or two and someone else becomes the no 2.

Liking Roy in his new character. Think he will improve.

Huntress is a good actress but she rarely comes. Felicity is obviously good.

Detective Lance is very good. Like him a lot.

Rest are meh. But the new comers should be better as the show is getting massively popular.

I actually think the guy is fantastic in the lead role. His strange calm way of speaking and slightly old fashioned stiff way of moving in society makes the character work in a strange way for me. I stuck with the series which usually shouldn't be my cup of tea at all also because of him.

And Felicity is a doll!! Makes me happy just to watch her. Good though they're not really together now, that would've become annoying quickly.

Amell was literally as wooden as a Robin of Lockley's arrows early on.

Nowadays, he's still rather wooden, but the dynamism of the show compensates well for him. He's not a bad actor by any stretch. He's just average, which is fine for the show. It's great, but winning Emmys is just not in its future. Comic book shows simply don't do well in that regard.

I actually think that wooden stuff is on purpose. And it worked for me, as it seems to me like a character that is a little like a robot, very controlled when talking to people etc.

Made the character interesting for me, funny that for you guys that's just bad acting maybe I'm seeing things that are not there.
But for me honestly the guy's acting was a surprise when I started watching this.

Laurels actor needs to stahp getting plastic surgery

Laurel is awful. Such cringe-worthy acting has not been witnessed since Alves vs Madrid in El Clasico 2011.

Was an ok episode. They made a mistake introducing Komodo like this. Episode was somewhere in between being emotional, actiony, drama and flashbacks. Didn't really work out. Sarah's death was underplayed IMO. That's the black canary dying lol not some scrub toilet cleaning lady.

Ending was very interesting. So it was Thea afterall? Or is she a double bluff? Think it's the latter eventhough Thea is gonna be a heel this season. Merlyn is training her in South America and she really can't travel that fast here to there? LOA might as well have killed Sarah or something. Or it could be someone completely new. Ffs great mystery.

I like Ray Palmer. Good character and a good actor is playing him. Wonder if he already has superpowers though.

Agree on Laurel....that was truly cringe-inducing stuff....especially at Sara's grave ffs.

I just wonder if they're now going to introduce a strong female lead to act as Oliver's foil the same way Sara and Helena Bertinelli did in previous seasons. This is me hoping (while simultaneously resigning myself to the fact that this will happen nonetheless) that they aren't thinking about accelerating Laurel's evolution into Black Canary.

I think her father's reaction when she finally tells him/he finds out, will be the ultimate trigger.

They already hinted at laurel being Canary with that hospital arm move and the aggression. Sadly.

I won't be able to stand Laurel as Black Canary.
And wtf was that bike fight all about between Arrow and Komoto.
Just riding around passing each other, go and do a stunt drift and/or wheelie turn around and do the same again.

Anyway, who said Amell was a bad actor? Felt Oliver's stress and emotions he has to deal with atm.

The huntress was the hot Mafia daughter chick right? Yes she should be back.

Think they need to re-introduce Katrina Law as Nyssa al Ghul. She and Sara did have a thing going on so it would be interesting to see her come back and enjoy an extended cameo helping Team Arrow find Sara's killer.

This could also be a good way to somehow draw her badass of a dad into the picture as well.

Vinnie Jones of Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels and X-Men: The Last Stand has joined the cast of Arrow as Danny Brickwell, better known as the DC supervillain Brick.

Variety describes the character as "a ruthless gang leader who brings Star City’s government to its knees. He’s known as 'Brick' on the streets because he’s been shot dozens of times but never put down."

They report that Jones will appear in episodes 10, 11 and 12 of Arrow’s third season, meaning that he'll feature in the midseason premiere and two episodes after.

Brick recently appeared in a DC Nation animated short featuring Green Arrow and has been a featured villain on Young Justice but this is his first live-action appearance.

Also one of my mate just had this theory about Sarah's killer.

What if it's Tommy? He was brought back for an episode so why couldn't he be brought for many others. Ra's wants Merlyn dead. He could have brought Tommy back alive via Lazarus pit and train him. We never saw him buried
