Sorry, was ill the last days. I will update it ASAP (there is still the DFB-Pokal and 2 matches left for Basel, too)

And Basel 6th despite their stressful run of 20 European matches ^^
(And Basel's second keeper Germano Vailati somewhat ruined the stats with the 3 Swiss Cup games he played where he got 4 goals against some rather weak opposition from lower leagues)

Our defensive record this year has been so good.
Thanks a lot rwo for the effort over the season.

The most surprising, at least for me is surely Saint-Étienne. Never knew they had such a tight-knit defense.
Our defensive performances/statistics are really encouraging. Let's hope we start the season with the same mentality.

Re: Return of the Top Defenses of the Top 5 Leagues 2012-2013 (stats)
Thanks! I'm happy you find the stats useful
For next season I will use all teams of the top 5 leagues that are in the CL and EL, the BL teams and possibly add Malaga, Porto, Benfica, Galatarasay and Fener too. Oh and Basel of course.
For the teams of Portugal and Turkey I'd need a reminder when they play in their cups, though. And do they have a national Supercup, too?

Re: Return of the Top Defenses of the Top 5 Leagues 2012-2013 (stats)
I dont think league cup/carling cup of england should be added to statistics. It is an irrelevant cup for PL clubs and they barely takes it seriously there is a reason in last 3 years 3 finalists have been second division clubs.
Re: Return of the Top Defenses of the Top 5 Leagues 2012-2013 (stats)
Well, nonetheless, the League Cups are competitive matches (France have a league cup, too, btw). If the teams don't take them seriously, it is the clubs' problem, IMO. I mean, there are clubs not taking the EL seriously either, but nonetheless the results go into the data for the stats, too.
