Why all the time very people under-rate Bayern Munich defence, they say Madrid defence is better than ours, why all the time people say nonsense.

Oops. Thx! Fixing that then. No big problem as we are in the very beginning of the season anyway. This list will get a bit more interesting in a couple of weekshalamadrid2 wrote:Rwo, Atletico have only played 2 games, their latest one was postponed

Top Defense Statistics 2012/13:
Goals conceded (domestic, absolute):
0 - FC Arsenal (3 matches) - Wojciech Szczesny / Vito Mannone (2)
1 - Olympique Marseilla (4 matches) - Steve Mandanda
1 - West Bromwich Albion (3 matches) - Ben Foster
1 - FC Málaga (3 matches)- Wilfredo Caballero
1 - Rayo Vallecano (3 matches) - Ruben
1 - Atlético Madrid (2 matches) - Thibaut Courtois
As with the stats of last year, I will only calculate the quotients after the season is completed.
Top defense statistics for 2012/2013 are irrelevant.Tell me...Malaga, Rayo Vallecano, WBA, Arsenal etc. have a better defense than Juventus?

Those statistic may be very poor.
I can tell you that David De Gea played only 29 games in Premier League for Manchester United, so the stats may be wrong when it comes about other clubs too .

@vlafy
1. The stats are going to be updated regularly, and I think if you read the first sentence you might have noticed that.
2. I listed the GK who played the majority of matches.

If anything the defence and midfield that covers the defence, deserves just as much praise as the GK's

No problemvlafy wrote:My mistake

The topic is titled "best defense" and not "best GK" for a reason, and as much as I would like to do a pure "best GK" list, too, the latter would be much more tedious as then I'd have to list the minutes played, too, and for that I'm frankly too lazy.

Juventus + Buffon have a great chance to be the first in the top after this season because Juventus is much stronger and i believe they will march in the league. They are my favourites.

Re: Return of the Top Defenses of the Top 5 Leagues 2012-2013 (stats)
I think Bayern with Neuer might have a good run again, too. Dortmund and M'gladbach will likely get their stats ruined in the CL, and Schalke only rise high in the tables as they simply score sufficiently more than they get in, same as Hannover in the EL.
