Re: Sell Nasri
The issue is that Wenger wants Nasri to renew now as opposed to Nasri... who wants to wait and see if the club is going to commit to winning trophies.
Makes me think Wenger knows he's not going to break the current model and, thus, wants to sell Nasri if not extended soon.
Not a confidence-building situation for a fan.

At a guess i would say no.Because when u are free agents clubs will queue up to pay astronomical wages for him and also signing on fee particularly clubs form Italy and Spain where tax rates are significantly lower than England. So unless Arsenal too offer him huge wages i would say keeping him in his last year of contract in hope of him re-signing is futile.

Win-win situation.
thats what i have been saying, promise him a few signings and that we will compete then give him whatever he wants then insert a 30 mill clause on his contract ,so if he starts all this leaving talk next summer we can make a tidy sum on him

Some1 was saying about half hearted performances.. I agree... Its no use keeping a player whose heart is somewhere just inorder to prove that you are not a selling club...
Better to consider selling him for 25m and replacing him with a quality signing.. May be Mata..

Re: Sell Nasri
theres nothing you can do about a truely unhappy player. They're not going to play 100% if they want to be somewhere else. I'm not sure what the deal is with Nasri but i'm sure Wenger does, and i'm sure he knows what to do about it.

its just foolish to say that you wouldnt take back rvp, i mean wtf were you watching last season... anyway id take back
1st: cesc by a long way, after watching our football after cesc, we can see just how crucial cesc was to our beautiful play. without him we just play average football. with him we played some magical stuff and really had magical nights. honestly this feeling is not just from watching arsenal. silva, mata, cazorla, oscar, whatever, imo dont have shit on an on form fabregas. just makes you wonder how much of a special player this guy is. criminally underrated. his passing was so clinical, always inch perfect, on his day he'd rip and defence to shreds. i dont think we are going to find a player like that for a long time.
.
2nd rvp, dont think we are going to find a striker as technically gifted as him for a long time.
3rd: flamini (well not now but i wish he didnt go) he fitted into our system very well.
thats it tbh everyone else we have lost is easily replaceable if we actually spend a bit.

I would not say no to it, but the chances of RVP coming is same as Arsenal winning everything this year.
Cesc and Song could still come back in a year or 2.

Re: Sell Nasri
Talent-wise, of course everyone would want RvP back, but would any of us support him? You have to like the players who play for your club. Winning is very important but if it's the only thing that counts then we might as well be glory-hunters.
I would not take Nasri back either. I hope his career goes down the drain

Re: Sell Nasri
all rvp would need to say is this:"i made a mistake leaving arsenal, im sorry for my actions and i want to come back, man utd is not the club for me and i was foolish to think so" and all the arsenal fans will be trying to lick his ball sack again.

I would not touch RVP's Balls to save the world.
I think we should just get back on Topic and a BIG no to Nasri, only way we will take him back if SHITY pay us.

Nope. I said it at the time and it's pretty much held true. Selling Nasri was a very wise decision.

Re: Sell Nasri
I'd take Cesc, Song, and RVP back if it ment that the club would be winning some silverware, plus I have no anger at them leaving for a chance to win, seeing as the club is not geared to compete above placing in the CL.Bénin wrote:No , the onlyone i'd take back is fabregas

I left out RVP because there is no chances ( even less than 0 ) for him to come back while Song and Fabregas are more possible. Actually iif Barca get a good CB and a winger we could buy song back for 10-15m ( if we as smart as Inter ). Anyways i want Fabregas to leave FCb, he is not helping at the moment. Weird situation when your favorite club keep buying players who don't fit the system from your other one...

Nasri is a magician, and Wenger would not sell him.
