Grand Zero shouldn't be released as a stand alone game, it could've been a DLC.

Anyone else see the resemblance between Mother Base and the Power Plant in MGS 2?

Re: The Official Metal Gear Solid 5 Thread
Apparently someone leaked the whole plot for the game online
If anyone even link it on here will get instant ban.

Re: The Official Metal Gear Solid 5 Thread
Personally...didn't like it. The story was excellent, and without spoiling, it helps shed light on Big Boss' backstory, as well as Kaz. It's also imperative for MGS5 (imo) as there will be returning characters from PW.
The gameplay was another thing, i felt it was a bit too repetitive (Given since it's a PSP game) but..upgrading Mother Base, capturing POW's and levelling up facets of the base felt..stale. Sure you get weapons and tech, but the only place where you actually need the big guns are in the boss battles (as well as tanks iirc), which brings me to my next point..
The Boss battles were horrendous, i cry everytime i hear that "La la la" bs. MGS 3's boss battles were varied and had the best boss battles in the series (imo). Fans were right to bash Kojima after he claimed that it was MGS5 in spirit.
Overall it was a 6.5/10 for me, maybe a 7/10 if i had to push it.
But after watching the 30min demo of MGS5, i got extremely hyped at what they did with Mother Base. It's bringing back elements from Peace Walker and expanding them, adding other facets such as base invasion and what not. I have to say, it got me really hyped.

Re: The Official Metal Gear Solid 5 Thread
You can always just watch the cutscenes on youtube, thats what a buddy of mine did.
Its important you get know characters like Huey, Paz, Strangelove, etc as well a the founding of MSF so you can understand MGS5's story better.

Just saw this post. Who told you it was bad? It is by far the greatest PSP game I ever played. The story was amazing and gameplay was perfect for PSP. It is the direct and amazing sequel to Snake Eater and very MGS in spirit. I heard the console ports were shitty though. So if you have a PSP or maybe PS Vita (I think there is a Vita port not sure), don't hesitate to buy it if you call yourself a MGS fan.
