I find every update in this list very interesting. They give us some idea of how our think tank is considering the entire transfer window.

I think that news item about waiting for Cesc till January is utter fabrication. It hardly makes any sense to me. As Cholla mentioned he will be cup tied in Europe. Also Arsenal will be much more resistant to sell him in January. The situation will be much uglier than it already is. If waiting is part of the plan then we should target next summer.

Barça play is more tactical than Madrid's. Everything is planned in advance, while Madrid leaves many things at random or to the outcome of their individual talents (mainly the attack). We are tactical, but we are offensive.

Tactical =/= defensive.

cat, I am quite sure the Santos coach is saying just what many of us believe but he is using sweeter language to say it because he knows Mourinho is all the time on the lookout for someone to fight with and he doesn't want to become his next victim.

Possible, I didn't think about that. It makes sense.

He probably meant Barca plays more offensive than Madrid's defensive tactics...so Barca's style would fit Neymar better (not that I want him)

Barca are strange sometimes...just because both of them plus Maxwell were injured all at the same time and Puyol was forced to play there, we should buy another?

It was a freak circumstance, 3 or even 2 leftbacks are highly unlikely get injured again at the same again next season.

I think we need more leftbacks. Now that Madrid, signing Coentrao, showed that they have figured out that the team with the most left backs wins the league, it will be hard to win them, IF we don't sign more left backs.

We've got 3, so they do.

What if an incredibly odd and disastrous injury plague affects all our 3 left backs and Muniesa. We'll definitely lose the league.
