Messi was better than them. but tbh this was messi's crappiest clasico especially in second half (to his standarts). I think madrid's biggest task is always to take messi out of the game but this time mourinho got his lesson. hope messi gets more freedom in second leg

I didnt manage to see the first half so I can really say how good Messi was in that half, but in the 2nd half Messi, b]by his own standard[/b], was pretty uninvolved in the game .But even then he did do some great runs. So its not like he did nothing and, IMO, in the Messi vs Ronaldo "battle" Messi did a hella lot more than Ronaldo. So Messi was atleast better than him..

That's the thing. We know he is clinical, but he didn't make the most of it. He could have done much better imo.
