Real Madrid vs Barcelona
Today the first el clasico of the season. Outside of this forum it is a great game, two biggest rivals arguably in the sport. Let's enjoy the football an not fight amongst each other like kids! If yo are too immature to hold back take a day off the forum!
Now predictions discussions an lineups!
If there is another thread on this I am sorry I did not see it.
Last thing who ever wins is the better team simple as that no ref or conspiracy theories!!! I might be asking for too much but worth a try.

Huh it's the super copa dude?
I want to win it just as much as barca fans want to win it. But the better team? So early in the season?

I meant in the game not overall lol. Better on the day I don't know how to put it maybe I was unclear. I don't want to see barca fans whining when Madrid beat them or the other way around.

Trying to have a discussion about the game so I don't know why you are here. The venue does not matter now does it and its calle camp mou!!
Back on topic troll!
I predict a draw because barca look good after the first game but Madrid have been playing well in Barcelona lately.

Re: Real Madrid vs Barcelona
Team news, manager quotes and bookmaker odds ahead of Thursday's Spanish Super Cup clash between Clasico rivals Barcelona and Real Madrid.
TEAM NEWS:
Alex Song is available for Barca after completing a £15m switch from Arsenal at the weekend but a decision on his participation will be made on the day of the match. Barca’s squad is fit in the sense that everyone is in training, but Eric Abidal and Thiago Alcantra are not match fit and unlikely to feature. Some of Barca’s youngsters, such as Isaac Cuenca, could get a start. If Cesc Fabregas plays it will be his 50th match for Barcelona since joining from Arsenal last summer.
Real are without defender Pepe, who suffered concussion in the 1-1 draw with Valencia, with Raul Albiol set to replace him as Ricardo Carvalho discusses terms with QPR. Pepe is expected to return for the Liga match against Getafe. Nuri Sahin will not feature as he looks set to move to either Arsenal or Liverpool, but Kaka could feature.
MANAGER QUOTES:
Tito Vilanova (Barcelona): "I don't have anything riding on the result of this game. I like to experience this profession calmly. I am sorry, but there are more important things in my life. I know it is important, but I couldn't do my job properly if I was worrying whether the world would fall on top of me if we lost. Neither team is at its optimum level at present. I don't see much of a difference between them at present."
Jose Mourinho (Real Madrid): "A match between rivals is always important, even in a summer tournament, but the Super Cup is the least important of the four we play during the season. I believe there is no relation between the winner and what is going to happen in the whole season. We lost the Super Cup last season and we won the league breaking records. At Inter (Milan) I also lost the Super Cup and that season we won the treble - the Cup, the Champions League and the league - and with Chelsea we won the Super Cup and didn't win the championship."
MATCH ODDS:
Barcelona 5/6 , Real Madrid 3/1, Draw 14/5

Noooo! Not Tello please. He was horrible last time. First he leaks the starting line up well before the squad is announced to his mum or something and the line up ends up being reported on Marca radio.
During the game he is useless and is even 1-on-1 with casillas at some point and FAILS dismally!! Real may have beat us last time , and deservedly so, but they should thank Pep for starting Tello and thiago vs a battle-hardened real side!!
If its pace Tito wants on that left hand side, then pace will get with Pedro and ALBA!!

Re: Real Madrid vs Barcelona
benzema has been awful
bring pipita in
overall the team isnt trying much, this is far from what our pressing is capable of
coentrao has been good apart from couple of bad positionings as well as arbeloa has been good too
if i exlude the yellow and the rest harsh tackles who would equal a red albiol has been decent too
sub in di maria and pipita, press more and we can get a result, at least i hope so
as long as we score even if we concede 2 i will consider it a good result!

Re: Real Madrid vs Barcelona
Wow what a good game!
Valdez what a mistake.
What do you guys think? Was the penalty fair? Did barca deserve to win by more?
What do you think about the amazing saves by iker?
Discuss the after math but leave out bs complaining and whining because the tie is still open.
