Running short on the goal supply, eh? Next season Lukaku will have to learn how to compete with a top class forward otherwise he's back on the bench. He cannot feel that just because he shined on loan at a smaller club then all of a sudden he is the undisputed starter at a much bigger club.

This is typical of him. Scores a bundle, then goes missing for months at a time (though he did score a few weeks ago vs Soton). Did the same for West Brom last season where he started brilliantly, disappeared for the entire winter and early spring period, then came back to life towards the tail-end of the campaign. One of several reasons I maintain he's not yet good enough to be first choice at Chelsea, and certainly not worthy of forgoing a world class signing in that position in the summer as many have suggested.

Anywho, we can't just have only one reliable striker for next season. We need to buy another one in the summer even if we think Lukaku is starting material.
