Walk the league? Signing of the decade? I know you guys are happy but tone it down, please.

David Ornstein @bbcsport_david
RvP fee £22.5m + £1.5m bonus if #mufc win PL or CL in next 4yrs. #Afc were willing to give him best-ever deal but never offered actually it.

City's front 2 is better anyways IMO and they have a better supply line.

United's biggest problem last year was scoring goals so this signing totally makes sense

If it is 22 million then it was a good deal. If it was 15 million then it was horrible, should have just kept him for the rest of the season.

It was either £15 million with add-ons this year or for free next year
Given that he doesn't want to stay at the club, this was a good deal.

15m with add on's to me is a fair deal. About value.
He has one year left and is almost 30.

Hahaha 6-1 and too gutless to even attack us in April. Parked the bus and hoped for the best. Zero shots on target. Watching Yaya play against your midfield is like watching the killing fields. I actually almost felt sorry for you between laughing.

Probably true...a depth signing for us and a £250K week upgrade on El Mushy Pea for you.

You know it's just a Wiki.....
The.article is about how they want him.To extend his contract, they mention him as the polish player of the year though.
& RVP to refchester still doesn't put them ahead of City.

Wow, really happy we signed him. I've always liked the way he plays, and it DOES make sense to sign a well known proven attacking player because we lost the title to City by GD.

Arsenal will be better off without him. Wenger has spent the cash very wisely indeed. Song is a huge loss though.

Re: Manchester United agree fee with Arsenal for Robin van Persie ( confirmed )
It's true that City won on goal difference but even the most level headed of posters have to know that when your putting a team together with pretty much 11 new starters from 2-3 years ago it takes time to learn how to win and play together.
It took Jordan time to learn how to win the same goes for Lebron and Real didn't just snatch the league from Barca when they brought in all the new blood they did.
It takes time and now that City won it they will be much more dangerous. IT doesn't really matter how much they won it by, just that they got over the hump and won it.
City still has a better team but United have SAF and he is the wild card.
But please United fans you don't need to belittle City's EPL championship you should be above that they won fair and square and head to head they slaughtered you so it's OK to say good job see you next year you were the better team.
RVP is a great signing, I don't care if it's 24 mill or 15 mill either price for a top 10 striker in the world is a steal IMO. Congrats and it should be celebrated.

Regardless, the margin is still 4...not that much difference.....a team that spent nearly a billion had to grind it out against a supposed weak United team. A team missing their best defender too.
6-1... yeah...you scored 3 in the last 2 mins...and another 2 whilst our defender was sent off. Well played. We'll give you lot those 2 precious wins over the ass smacking we've given u lot over the past 4 decades.

Our big name signings might be crap but it's ok because we're good at scouting good young players and turning them into stars, and that gives United more of a soul than City. I'd hate to be a fan of a team where all the players were bought in.
Our young players >>>>> your young players.

Our side had more players fitting in than city FFs, lack of experience isn't an excuse for practically being dead in the title race with 6 games to go
I can't wait for next year... Time to put certain people back in their place

This is a sign of things to come
City crippled by the FFP rules can only buy English to fill the new quota rules while utd use non billionaire techniques to improve the squad
