Re: Conte should not be allowed to train Juventus, insists Zeman
Milan went from winning 28 games
To 19 the following year (the year they won the champions league, also the year they were supposed to be excluded from the competition)
And Inter did so well afterwards
That 180 degree turn around from winning it all
Law of nature

Re: Conte should not be allowed to train Juventus, insists Zeman
Juve should let go of Conte immediatly. You don't have the brightest history in terms of match fixing. If you keep him more controversy will ensue.
It doesn't matter whether he is guilty or not. People will assossiate his wrongdoings with Juve despite him doing his shady stuff at another club.
If you can't see past such a simple point you aren't a true Juve supporter

Inter was on top of Italy for years, and none of this shit happed to them, no?
Its only Juve, and ALWAYS Juve. Really strange. Same as Juve succes in Italy and out of Italy.

Yeah, Juventus' manager getting punished for incidents not even involving Juventus
Sounds legit
all of the primary suspects in this investigation have ties to juventus.
coincidence?

With Berlusconi Bunga bunga never ends, just a tactical change due to economical circumstances he and Zeman are redefining the phrase to refer to "Old Ladies".Luca wrote:baresi wrote:I am totally in Love with this guy his hatred towards Juve is unmeasurable, he was the one the one that brought up Juve doping case, and said Juve board " run a pharmacy and not a football club" and after investigations he turned out to be right, with Conte being one of the major players back then doping. He is Ze-man, I am officially a new Roma fan.
A total tactical genius, he is right about his madness and I think this is the only reason he didn't get offers from big clubs in the last part of his career. I loved his competition with Sacchi when it came to tactics, one being an all out offensive freak, and the other a defensive freak with direct passing.
I am officially going to Roma-Juve this season.
Forza Zeman
Good call on abandoning Milan
Alas, the bunga bunga parties have come to a close

Re: Conte should not be allowed to train Juventus, insists Zeman
My own silly opinion but Juventus' influence in Italy does have a distinct resemblance to the one Real Madrid has in Spain. Of course, only one got relegated due to some not so legal activities while the other hasn't.
Anyway, in response to Babun's post, it isn't as easy as that. Conte has been a great servant to the club (and a rather good player as well) so for Juventus to let him go would not go down too well. The downside of this is that as long as Conte continue being at the helm, Juventus would continue being associated with cheating (even though in this case, it has nothing to do with them).
Having a Serie A title, taking cheap shots at rivals or even pulling the "enemy card" doesn't change that fact...

Zeman: Juve no examples
By Football Italia staff
Roma boss Zdenek Zeman’s war of words with Juventus has continued after he responded to the jibe of John Elkann.
“I wasn’t offended by Elkann’s words,” said the Czech tactician. “We just have different opinions on sport.
“But, in the last few years, it is not as if Juventus have been a good example...”
Zeman’s latest spat with the Old Lady started after he questioned whether boss Antonio Conte should be allowed to train his side during the week while being banned as part of the match-fixing verdicts.
Elkann then sensationally hit back by questioning the career of the former Foggia, Pescara and Lazio 4-3-3 Coach.
“The interesting thing is that Massimo Carrera in one match has won more than Zeman has in a career,” the President of Fiat stated last week. “That is the best answer.”
Carrera, a former defender with La Signora, will take over the touchline duties from Conte who will today start his appeal against his 10-month ban.
Juventus have had a turbulent last decade after they were demoted to Serie B in 2006 in the aftermath of the Calciopoli revelations.

Re: Conte should not be allowed to train Juventus, insists Zeman
Antonio Conte is expected to personally appear in court for the first time on Monday after his legal team confirmed the Juventus coach is seeking to "completely clear his name".
