Re: Bonera
Our new Silva?
This is Dostoevsky the day Bonera is left as our best defender:
Mexes has never shone in Europe, however he has repeatedly proven himself to be a very capable central defender in league campaigns and has a far finer pedigree than Bonera. Bonera was stable last season and provides at the very least a flexible option, never complains, is loyal, a productive part of the locker room and loves the club. His qualities are many when you list them like that, however they're also largely ornamental.
Neither Mexes nor Bonera are elite defenders, however the Frenchman sadly is our strongest option, though he has been restricted by injury and also a very strong partnership that stood in the way of game time and his performances have not been up to standard as a result. Bonera had a decent season last year, however hardly fantastic by any means, he simply wasn't as error prone as usual.
Mexes and Acerbi should be allowed to grow together as a partnership in my opinion, at least Acerbi has the ability to grow.

Re: Bonera
Hey Guys...
Long time no post... Looks like the Milan section is still thriving around here, even though the conversations are a bit depressing.
Ok so Zapata is in now. I think he is more likely to take up a CB role than RB, so that at least saves half the issue (or all if Mexes is on form).
What's the latest on the Yanga Mbiwa saga?
Also, I feel like I'm taking crazy pills, why have opinions changed with regards to Bonera? He still is a pile of cr@p. If you guys lose the will to troll him then this section will be in serious decline IMO.

Re: Bonera
Bonera carries our team and keeps clean sheets in the CL, we win the CL due to this, he is a candidate for Ballon'D'Or and is named Serie A defender of the year.
