Yeah, same for Barcelona, too. I expect this to be official next week at the earliest.

We got 20 mill pounds for him? Good deal. Another good con job. End of Darren effing Dein. This is a brilliant transfer window, if we spend that money on the right replacements in the next two weeks.
We should ideally wrap up a incoming transfer before we let Song go.

Only two weeks left of this window. There might be a few bargains about. It wouldn't surprise me if it took a little while for a replacement to come in.

He probably is tbh, RVP has already been replaced by signing Cazorla, Podolski and Giroud but Song's hole in the squad is rather large tbh....
Atleast until Wilshere comes back anyway.

Yes, but I am hoping that the work is under way behind the scenes. The whole Song thing is a little out of the blue, and harder to understand.
Theo should finish that contract extension soon. Its the most important thing now. And then we need the replacements.
And Bendtner, Squillacci and Park have to be sold ASAP. How come nobody gave a shit about his reaction when we sold Persie?
He apparently said he was not at all bothered and wouldn't play for us even if we had no strikers left. I wonder why the eff he is still eating our wage bill and not sodding his sorry worthless ass off already.

Nobody wants Bendtner. Or, at least, nobody wants to meet his ridiculous demands. He and his agent are being very picky about which clubs they think are good enough for them, too.

Why do we have such clowns on longer contracts

Just pay me to assassinate Bendtner ffs. It'll be quick and clean, no-one will be missed and i'll be jetting off on holiday soon so i won't be suspected

@MJ : If we play our cards right, then I am happy getting 20 million pounds for him.

Arsene has a plan, he wouldn't sell him this late without having a replacement ready to sign. Just hoping it's not Biglia.

I do have to question why we gave Bendtner £52k p/w. Ridiculous amount of money for someone who's good on his day but far too inconsistent to be a top striker.
I suppose we succeeded in giving young players an incentive to stay longer.

Doesn't mean I won't miss Song's personality and unique flair. I'm happy with all our transfer dealing and think we're stronger because of them. If we sign M'vila or Capoue I'll maintain that stance.

Re: The Official Arsenal Summer Transfers/Rumours Thread
RVP will get to play regularly ( Injury, please strike again ) but Song have fun chatting with Pinto & Puyol about hairstyle on the bench.
So here is the math
In: Poldoski 11m + Giroud 13m + Cazorla 20m = 44m
Out: Ozyaku 0.5m + Vela 4.2m + RVP 22m + Bartley 1m + Song 20m = 47.2m
3.2m profit, any possible candidate for that amount? That would be Sahin on loan. I hope to god the board breaks a bank a bit to make extra push for Song's replacement.

We wont buy a replacement for Song, I have a feeling Pingpong or Coq will take his place.
This was Wenger will say, We have a big squad and I believe in PingPong to do the job.

This would be a bit easier if we could have sold Bendtner, Park and Squillaci. Not that the latter two would have provided any significant transfer fee but the wage bill would be shorter.

I'm not convinced by either of them, nor Biglia. I think Sahin would be sweet, but I am not ITK.
I won't miss Song. Again, he was an indisciplined DM who neglected his job and papered over the cracks with creativity.
Btw, how many of you guys read the "Ramsey would benefit from RvP leaving because RVP was giving him a hard time for missing the chances created by RVP - it came to blows and a dressing room floor brawl after City Home game - because 'assists are as important as goals' for Rvp" bit from AFCAMDEN's TL??

Re: The Official Arsenal Summer Transfers/Rumours Thread
Wtf? Sometimes I wanted to knock Ramsey out for the chances he'd miss but I always took a deep breath and remembered that anyone could be killed from his goals.
Is there any truth to that? Because if there is then what a complete a-shole. That's unbecoming of a captain. Sh-t.

lmao it's not too far-fetched.
I can imagine Wenger going for Sahin. If he failed to sign him he would be like "f*** it I'm going with Coquelin". Then injury hit strikes, and we'll get our 4th place trophy. Repeat the same next summer

Price for Song believed to be 20mil euros + add ons. Something quite close to £20mil, apparently.
Not bad.

Replace a bad attitude with another one
I'd rather Capoue + Sahin.
