If all the main continental bodies met up, created their own super leagues and pulled all their players away from international football would you be against it? I would love it!

It could work if internatiopnal fixtures are removed all together.

it's boring, the level isn't anywhere close to club football and anyway noone gives a shit about 90% of all international games... at least scrap the useless friendlies 6 times during a year ffs :facepalm:

Exactly. The whole patriotism thing is becoming obsolete anyways. International football is killing clubs atm. FIFA can go screw themsleves. This way a European super league can be created all around the world. How great would it be for the footballers as well. More football = profit.

I love International tournaments but I do feel like International Friendlies are the stupidest idea in the history of this game.

I wouldn't be against it. I like watching the game and obviously i would like it if it were of higher quality. Qualitywise, international football is lower than club football.

Even if the footballers from my country are some of the best and are always in contention for the international trophies, i will still want more club football. Patriotism in sports does not mean much to me anyway.

So, i will like a continental super league even if it means scrapping the international format.

Friendlies are a waste of time. Only reason they should occur is a few weeks before tournaments to get the teams into shape. Love the WC and such.
