Overall I'm pretty happy with how we played in the 2nd half

Torres showing good form, good pace. Hazard's passing was amazing. Overall the team showed glimpses of slick passing and movement which could be signs of things to come.

I'm disappointed with Terry though. I've said it before and I'll say it again, he is past it. He never were known for his pace but his speed is very, very disappointing.

Like Shed said, a good RB and I think we'll have a good season

Overall, I am happy with the match. Had Ivanovic not been red carded we would have won, no doubt.

Mata down the flank doesn't work. Hazard is slightly better. Mikel is hopeless Play Romeu FFS!

I hope we sign Azpilicueta very soon otherwise Ferreira or Hutch will be starting.

Couldn't watch the game, how Torres and Hazard played? And there was the red card for Iva?

Yeah, two footed tackle on Kolarov, dangerous but I don't think he should have seen red.

Torres was Boss. ran his guts off and scored a classy goal. back on form IMO.

Hazard was decent. struggled when we went down to 10 men but all of our attack did. Give Hazard 6 months and he will be ripping the league up.

He's not out at all, changes in the laws in 2009 means he's all good to start the season.

Hope we still get a move on with the RB situation though, we still badly need cover there.

How about you guys make a matchday thread before every game when the season starts ? you can preview the match in there and then talk about post match stuff too

Anyone seen the new format of the website? Its nice but I don't like the fact that it now looks a lot like other clubs' website. That unique look is no more.

Yea it'll definitely take some getting used to.

It makes me laugh how they've been milking the "Champions of Europe" moniker for everything it's worth - plastered all over the stadium facade, loaded up every Chelsea TV graphic for Blues News, FNL, MNL, etc. with clips of it, and now this on the website, etc. - but yet when it comes time to put an effing star on our shirts, or even only on the UCL shirts at the very least, they won't do it.
