You realize that the whole 2012 apocalypse thing is bogus right? Mayan calander doesn't end in 2012, it simply moves on to the next cycle.
Kinda like the western calendars and 999 and 1999.
The Mayan calendar simply moves on to it's 14th cycle.
Of course I do but apparently that slight dig at the nonsensical Mayan prediction flew over your head, well, keyboard.

If PSG is set to get past the groups theyve done much more than City on international stage.

See Lyon...just the other day they were winning Ligue 1 every year and no one really got too excited. But they made themselves a force in the CL.
If they win CL, different story.

Lyon was only a force in the CL against Madrid

Two semi-finals in a row , very narrowly lost to the eventual winner in 08 (outplayed them TBH ) and 09 (got trashed but Benz put on a show )
No one other than us was exactly afraid of them but they had a very nice CL record.

PSG raised their profile with these signings. Even if it doesn't work out on the pitch they've done more than enough to announce themselves. They can use that as a foundation forbthe future.

How to dodge a question the Nick and Sportzcy way:
- Write out your response
- Add "lol" at least once
- Add at least once
- If this doesn't work, talk about money

PSG still have some weak links in their squad.Ligue 1 is a must though.CL depends on the draw.

European super league is coming soon, I see it already, all these big spending clubs setting up in countries which lack fan appeal , marketability and just a general sense of antagonism to attract bandwagoners....it's coming.
They're going to need more than CL.
And Xabi will have to play 10 more games a season

Will never happen, it would destroy football and they know it.
These big clubs rely on the mid-table and smaller clubs and they know it.

Well, Champions League is going to be a mad scramble, the level of competition is just going to skyrocket,
But still, I think something else is needed to accommodate this.

Re: If PSG doesnt go past 1/4, that d be biggest fail in history of French football
someone posted the CL seedings for next season and i gotta say although ive been pretty against a 'super league' idea the thought definitely occurred to me when i was looking through who would be seeded in which pot.
i mean i think it would be much more interesting if teams that barely missed the cut like tottenham, newcastle, liverpool, atletico, bilbao, lazio, napoli, inter, roma, leverkrusen, stuttgart, OL and OM were subsituted for the likes of FC Nordsjælland, FC Salzburg, BATE Borisov, Panathinaikos, Anderlecht, and the mighty FC Basel.
every group would be group of death..

Actually give prize money to the Europa League that makes sense.
There, problem solved.

that actually would solve it, getting past the group stage earns more money than winning the entire EL i think.
but the problem with giving EL more money is that not enough people watch it and they are not getting enough money from TV ads.

Europa league will always be so much less prestigious...you think these newfound bandwagoners are going to be satisfied with a Europa
