Shadowed Ozil's every move in an energetic display that once again highlighted his top-level credentials. It will be tough for Tom Huddlestone to force his way back into the starting line-up.
Mesut Özil
5.5
His precise corner teed up Adebayor for the early opener but the German struggled to shrug off the attentions of his shadow, also known as Sandro. Subbed late on.
All I saw was that in the second game we played through the wings and he was useless because he followed Ozil everywhere leaving holes in midfield
In the first game, when it mattered (we played through Ozil) he sucked
and as you said, ozil sucked in the first game, and it was mainly because of sandro

LMAO goal.com ratings are serious?
Everyone and his goat knows they are absolute crap.
In that game that you are talking about, Ozil assisted two of the four goals we scored and managed to get 3 shots off while also setting up another 2 goalscoring chances.
lol, I love how people don't watch the games they are talking about.

Mesut Ozil
The craft to Di Maria's pace and Ronaldos power, Ozil's movement and vision made him a threat, but for long periods even he found the visitors' defence overwhelming. 7
Sandro
Impressed as midfield shield against AC Milan but could do little to staunch the constant flow of Madrid attacks after Crouch's dismissal. 6
Here's another one:

negredo truly hates us, nothing we can do now.
he went as far as saying that if we buy back, he asked his president to come back and get him again...

I don't think he would mind if we intended to keep him, but I think he just didn't want us to to use him as part of another deal.

Re: Real Madrid Transfer Rumours
He was brought back used in preseason and was told to **** off. I think he hates us too especially with rumors suggesting he will be used to bring other players in we showed no respect to him so it is quite understandable.

Wouldn't of minded if he stayed as 3rd striker but I'm sure he wanted to start every game.

Re: Real Madrid Transfer Rumours
There are a number of stories in various papers today that MAY have some effect on us.
1. Madrid have declared 5 players transferable (sold or lent); Drenthe, Garay, Gago, Canales, Leon. Surprisingly not on list is Mateos. That leaves line-up at 22 players or 23 if they add a 3rd striker. They also said that Mejias will not be in offical line-up (i.e.. remains at Castilla) but will be available.
2. Inference in this article is that with Coentrao or Aquero purchases, an existing player must go (I suspect this means Mateos and Benz). Also means if Lass or Kaka go, a new player will come in.
2. Same article says Canales best offer so far is for Villareal to buy Canales, but club wants to loan him!
3. Inter are supposedly offering 30M for Kaka.
4. Barcelona are talking to Arsenal about Cesc. If this does happen, there is the possibility that Thiago could be available (and as Nick has said he would be a much better option than Kaka). Also if we got him, then I think Madrid would be willing to sell Canales.
5. Santos has acknowledged that Madrid have approached them about Neymar. Are Madrid thinking of a. buying him, but putting him on loan for a year or two, b. bring him in instead of Aquero to replace Benz or c. bring him in as the 3rd striker (youngster behind Higuain and Aquero / Benz). If the latter has any validity, it puts out of picture both Adebayor and Morata.
6. Man U is putting together an offer for Lass. This would be in addition to Juventus. Given the news above, this would mean we will be looking for a Lass replacement in the marketplace.
So in sum, our line-up is set waiting on the following;
a. Coentrao deal
b. Aquero and / or Neymar deal
c. News as to 3rd striker
d. Lass leaving and who is available as replacement
e. Kaka leaving and who is available as replacement

Re: Real Madrid Transfer Rumours
a bit confusing the stuff running around. As was implying we wouldnt look for lass replacement. but they were also suggesting that we woul have benzema - higuain - aguero which wont happen, so it took they didnt have any hindsight.
Metro published the rumor about Lass = to be taken lightly, but we are looking to sell him.

Great job Bill. Really appreciated.
Bottom line... who the heck knows ffs. Between misinformation from players, agents and clubs + newspapers making stuff up all the time, might as well go see a palm reader for answers.
I kind of trust a couple a guys i talk to. But they also have agendas... so i take things with a grain of salt.

Re: Real Madrid Transfer Rumours
i think the signing of sahin was a good move. Whenever Xabi Alonso doesnt start we look like a different team. His passing ability is one of the best in the world and hopefully sahin can fit in quickly and earn a place in the starting 11.

Re: Real Madrid Transfer Rumours
Lol Thiago. No point in him coming to Madrid, he has more opposition here than in Barca if you look at it that way. Even if he does come (2% chance), we musnt sell Canales. Thiagales (Caniago?) will eventually put Xaviniesta in the shadows.
As for all the rumours and stuff, well, this is Real Madrid. Its transfer season, and shit happens. Mad shit. So we just have to wait and see I guess.
