I dont care what you think because when the player himself has admitted as much then I take his word over a madridistas word nor do I need to have watch his every development, as I think that he knows how he developed far more than me and you...

This is a good signing from what i have seen in the Euros. He is a good player and a decent defender. So much better than some of the other LB options in the market definitely.

Let us see what he does for Barcelona now.

not hating,but i think that Barca will struggle a lot with alba and alves as FBs.i expect a lot of goals to be conceded.the positive side about it is that it will be x100 times harder to park the bus with 2 attacking and creative FBs

Busquets can always drop back and cover for that and make it a 3 man defense in certain situations.

I think we payed too much for him.He has had a great tournament though although he hasn't really been tested on the defensive side and thats what is worrying me about him.

Thing with Barca is they press much better than Spain do, so there might not be as much defending for Alba.

Jordi Alba is a good player, he has always performed with Spain but not always reached such levels for Valencia. I dont think him and Alves will work together in a 4 man backline at all.

That was a rip off i have to agree, Mou used the excuse of him being versatile well he played like a nursery school player in those "versatile" positions of his

Anyway, a decent signing. Would have preferred to get him at 10 million at least but oh well. Between Adriano and Alba we have 2 good attacking left backs that can certainly contribute to the attack.

Still doesn't fix the problem of height though :facepalm:
