According to goal.com a few hrs. ago. It could go up to 32 mil. depending on his performance and all that's left now are personal terms.
That still sounds pricy IMO.

Its nothing compared to the 80mil price tag that was being thrown around a year ago

I would have preferred a more established player for such a huge sum but if this gamble pays off we're in for a spectacle. That said we're not only landing a huge talent that would improve the team on the long run but we're adding more flair to a side that isnt exactly entertaining. The resale value would be great and if things go well we could double our investment in a few years.
Personally i would have spent that money elsewhere, but hey, i aint complaining.

If this is true then it is retarded.We should invest in other positions where we have average players,make a balanced,compact squad.We didn't wanna pay an extra million for Poli but we're gonna give 30 for Lucas just because Moratti is obsessed.FFS...I wouldn't be surprised if he sold 20% of the club just to buy Lucas

So Lucas apparently is going to Inter. What's new... I this really does happen, Im gonna shoot myself. As if you would reject a deal from Man U to go to Inter... You might have more game time than at Manchester though the quality of football, you would have to go to Man U. Doubt this rumour is true. Goal.com also said that Barca had accepted a 71m for Neymar... And look whats happened now...

Sky Sport 24 are reporting that Inter have agreed in principle with Sao Paulo for the transfer of Lucas Moura.
The Brazilian youngster has been regularly linked with the Nerazzurri this summer, but looked to be the subject of a bidding war between the Italians and other confirmed party Manchester United.
However, Sky Sport 24 believe that Inter now hold an advantage in proceedings, with Marco Branca, who is known to be in Brazil at the moment, reported to have agreed an initial €27m move for the 19-year-old winger.

Only a few days ago SP's president said the player confirmed he wanted to play only for United, now we're reading Inter are on the verge of signing him? Sounds suspect. We allegedly offered them 30 mill too.
I wouldn't read too much into all this. trust me, by Monday, they'll be reporting Utd or some other club have snapped him up. I'm not believing anything until I read the confirmation on a club's official site.

I can't believe the president refused 25m pounds for a teenager. He's not thinking clearly.
Lucas is very good in Brazil but against team GB in the Olympics, he was only half as threatening. Now, I hope no deal will ever go through.
