Re: PES 2013 Thread
I usually buy both the PC and Xbox version and mainly edit on PC then transfer over to Xbox. Unless its suddenly been changed you can edit on consoles. The last time I edited PES on a console was when I had PES 6 on my PS2 . I didn't have a maxdrive so I would take the picture of a clubs badge and then draw it from scratch in the badge creator, it allowed you to create logos such as Nike's and Adidas and stick it on and full kits aswell. I had fun creating Chelsea's uber complicated 06/07 home and away kit, good times.
Just checked my Xbox version, you can edit kits and create club badges/embelms. Good to see, thinking of going back to my hardcore ways and editing the hard way using my Xbox when PES 2013 comes out.

Re: PES 2013 Thread
Good question mtfootball, I havent played online since PES 2009, only due to the horrid gameplay that game had, PES 2008 and 2009 are best forgotten. Like I said, i'm a two-thirds editor and one-third master league/become a legend. Single player never got boring enough for me to use online. Nameless may be able to answer that question for you.
@Nameless
If your looking for option files which includes the Bundesliga theres a few on PESGaming.

Re: PES 2013 Thread
Yeah, its not really a negative point whicb can be used against the game to be honest, since the fans are the ones who prefer to edit rather then have everything given to use. Hopefully in the next game Konami add in unliscensed Championship, Segunda, Serie B etc, we normally have to create those clubs but if Konami atleast save us time by giving us the players that would be awesome. They would just have to leave the kits and embelms to us.

Re: PES 2013 Thread
Just played the demo and it wasn't too bad. I use to like PES on PSP before. Even on PC and PS2 I think.

Re: PES 2013 Thread
On second try, I think its decent. I probably misjudged the first time because I was in a hurry. Its not bad. Certainly better than the horrible 2012 edition.

You can't really notice the difference in stats between players like FIFA.

I really hate the blur effect in recent PES versions. PES 2011 was perfect for me.

Re: PES 2013 Thread
mtfootball it reallh depends what level you play on with PES. If you want teams to play to their stats so you can have easy games against the likes of Granada or hard games against Barca then Regular is the one for you. Professional(World Class) and Top Player(Legendary) are more difficult based on your style of play.
If you play possession football play on top player, you can constantly closed down so it gives you a challenge. If you play full out attacking football play on Professional, teams are so defensive on that level, again, a challenge for you. This year they put in the 6th difficulty, Superstar, where teams playef uber attacking football, my counter attacking style of play leads to me owning teams on this difficulty, so I normally just stick to Top Player.
PES 2012 for most fans is said to be the hardest game of the series, I personally saw no difference, except scripting got impossibly worse, whether they made it easier for 2013 is anybodys guess.

Re: PES 2013 Thread
OK. I tried out Pes on pc and ps3 and all I have to say that the game is GOAT so far. AI is a massive improvement for sure. They overlap, creative and dribble more often. What I also liked is that free flowing pass system is back from PES 2011, which is vital for counters and creative on goalscoring.
Only minus would is only the blur effect which is very annoying, but other than that its very good.
About pes 2012 than yea its hard as hell, but even harder in BAL mode. If the player built wasnt so strict I would have maybe played as a pro more often, but if I do that the, then my overall rating is bad and I might lose my role as a starter. It dosent matter what I do on the pitch, the coach never appreciates the efforts. So Im really stuck playing as a regular until I get my stats together.

Re: PES 2013 Thread
What PES needs to do excell, they need all the club rights as well as creating more clubs, leagues etc and have rights for that as well. The graphics are and the controlls are enjoyable though leagues, clubs, players are a pain.

Can you tell me how? I have been editing for ages, using pesgaming and pesstatsdatabase. I didn't find a patch for ps3.

Re: PES 2013 Thread
I have been getting all Pes editions eversince 2005, the last two years PES was average.
First impressions of the demo, it is really good. I like the fluidity and player ID, every player is moving in a unique way. Bringing back flares is a good decision by konami but I would have hoped they made the fans look even more realistic similar to pes 06. The shooting has improved a lot and the player ID is excellent in this category. In the past 2 editions, Pes lacked a lot of fluidity and seemed extremely arcade, now it looks much better. The AI is very smart and the defence has got even better. One last thing Goalkeepers are a huge upgrade, they are better positioned and have better reflexes, however, the trick shot still knocks them down =/ .

Re: PES 2013 Thread
@Milan Devil
There usually some option files for PS3 on pes-editing. You could also just google it ala "pes 2012 Ps3 option file" and loads will come up, well, for me when I typed it a few minutes ago they did.
I hope the Portugese league is still in PES 2013, editing the kits for the teams was a right challenge, so many damn sponsers. People have been asking for an unlicensed Bundesliga for years, I wouldn't mind either way since it would mean I wouldn't have to create Neverkuson every year.
