BTW: Messi was good for Argentina, Argentina just wasn't good. CR7 disappointed me more, yet both were actually good, Portugal just is a choker squad and Argentina was managed by Cokadona.

It's harsh . Goal-scorers tend to perform better in better teams (Celtic were arguably the best side in SPL) .

He was in the Sweden team that finished third in 94 , and scored a goal in the third-place playoff .
If I remember right , he scored 3-4 goals in 4 games at 2002 .
Came back from retirement , scored 3 goals in 4 games (including that diving header) , and was in the team of the tournament in Euro 04.
Didnt really had a good WC in 06 , but did manage to score , thereby managing to score in 3 different WC's.
Came back from retirement (again) , participated in Euro 08 , and scored in their only victory .

Larsson has done more for Sweden than most players who played for the NT , I mean if you had to pick players in the Swedish NT who were stars at clubs but really didnt perform in the NT , surely Larsson isnt the obivious choice .

Fun Fact : Larsson has a better goal-to-game ratio for his NT than Messi and CR7 .

And if what i said till now didnt make sense , Henerik Larsson was voted the best Swedish footballer ever in 2005 , and has been decorated in his home country .
