That is a foolish argument Hala. CR cost 80 million pounds whereas Caroll is about half of that. You are saying you have not signed useless players for 40 million?

CR payed it back, Carroll has yet to score double digits, look i was just having a bit of laughs

40 mill, hmm Kaka is one but he was also ballon d'or winner so that was incorporated into the fee, other than that Zidane was our most expensive who we bought for around 50 mill

but we have signed a couple of useless ones for over 20 mill, i will not lie but most often than not we don't try to justify it and criticize it ourselves

Yeah, that is true. But 'pool don't have the luxury of criticizing themselves at this current stage.

true but you don't justify it, i remember the outrage when we were about to sign Cacktrao for around 25 mill(eventho he was one of Benficas best players)

i guess it differs from fans to fans, our fans like to criticize everything from how the players celebrate to how many goals a guys scores compared to another in a 7-0 win

all clubs do stupid signings sometimes but all their signings to do bad in a season is a bit......

Gago is an interesting scenario. Like Sneijder, he started off really nice at Real Madrid. However, constant injuries which resulted in a serious lack of form and the emergence of Barcelona's ridiculously great team just killed his time at the Bernabeu slowly and surely. Good player but he never improved much (or at all).

so he should do like the other two and come to Inter... I would like him there... a good replacement to Cambiasso

i dont watch gago on a consistent bases since he is always injured...but the guy is so underrated if he always plays like he does with argentina
