we have no need to be bossed around, regardless of the price. 7m is low enough, we will very easily find someone who wants gago at that price. so the ball is in romas court if they pass up on a 7m gago then so be it.

How does "Fernando did not receive the professional treatment he deserved" automatically mean "Roma is low-balling Real Madrid"? These are just assumptions that are being made, nothing more.

Now if Roma want to go back into negotiations with Real Madrid to discuss this deal again, what's the problem with that? Nothing is set in stone. If we feel he's definitely worth the 7 million euros, then we'll pay up without a problem. If we're tied down due to the fact that we have to invest in other areas of the team, which we do have to do, then we're fully within our rights to re-enter negotiations and try to work something out. I really don't see how this is a big issue at all though.

It's a partnership that will bring us tens of millions every year. It's not our club spending the money lol.
