Liverpool v Chelsea, Tuesday 8th May
Would have been better if these games against Chelsea were the other way round, league first and the cup final last. Now I can't get excited about this, a win would mean very little in the table and would not offer consolidation for the cup loss.
Hopefully Kenny will field some of the younger players, Kelly, Flanagan, Shelvey, Coates. Sterling, too, at least on the bench. Can't see it happening, though.

Best team possible. Why give the game away over by playing youth? Restrict them from getting CL.

There is a chance to get something positive. We beat them and beat swansea we might get 7th. But im hoping we dont finish 7th so that we go in the market and get some consistent players.

Meaningless game for us, why not give youth a chance? If you're ever going to do that these games are the best opportunity. I don't care whether it's Chelsea, Arsenal or Tottenham who get CL. Not that Chelsea are going to finish in top-4 even if they win their last two games.

Re: Liverpool v Chelsea, Tuesday 8th May
So we may aswell stop them now. What's the point of bending over for a club that has already stolen two of our better players in the last couple of years? A team we've had a rivalry for over 5 years. Sorry, but we go all out. It's at home too, so the players should show respect to the supporters.
Oh, and I'd also like to see Torres' face when he went to join a CL team that couldn't make the four. (Bayern will kill them in the final and he didn't feature in the FA cup. He's still won nothing at the club-level.)
On a side note, Maxi and Kuyt will most likely to start as they won't feature next season.

Mole if we beat Chelsea today for you guys, you must beat Everton for us.
I don't care who plays, I just want to see Carroll score and Sterling play.

HAHAHAHAHAH pregame commentary:
"If Liverpool fail to win their last two games, this will be their lowest PL points tally ever. There's a lot more than pride at stake."
for english commentators.

I could've sworn I saw Torres' hand go up to touch 'This is Anfield' sign in the tunnel. I'm not sure if he did though!

Well, it wouldn't be a pool game without hitting the post once. Great first half, would've been nice to do this against the other crap sides we played this year, but let's do it again and put 6 past em

A CASA!! A TUTTI A CASA!!!RETRIBUTION!!
No seriously we actually look on song today as this match is a testament to what football we are capable of.
Carroll and Suarez have been stellar and been our best so far. Henderson has looked very good while even Shelvey has impressed.
Downing on the other hand should not have taken the penalty yet he scores points with his Rivera-esque dipper on what seems to be his spouse, the much-maligned crossbar.
I want to see Sterling on as well

To be fair, Chelsea haven't looked motivated for a second. But it feels really good scoring plenty at Anfield for a change! And our guys have really worked hard, credit to them and Kenny for finding that spirit after Saturday.

Carroll has been immense, his touch has been pristine all game so far. I know Chelsea are starting a weak squad and have no motivation, but lets be real - we've struggled pretty mightily against weak squads this year. It's nice to take someone to the woodshed for once.

Re: Liverpool v Chelsea, Tuesday 8th May
I don't see how Chelsea have little motivation as they will want to push for that 4th spot as small as a chance they have along with their expectations to finish in the best possible place.
If anything, Liverpool have little motivation (despite the everton competition) so this point of Chelsea not being motivated does not cut it for me.

Just look at their line-up, they never treated this game as if it mattered for top-4 spots. Nor they should have. Nevertheless it was good of us to perform well and get a win to lift our spirits.
Swansea game to go.
