I feel a little sorry for Griffin actually. He sees to be getting alot of stick and alot of people saying he got to do x, y and z...its only his 2nd year, give the guy a break. He didnt play THAT bad either, it will be a learning experience for him and he didnt give the worst account for himself in my book. Give the year some time.

Indy and Miami was a fun game, very good watch. Pacers started out on flames with unbelievable energy. However, that eventually wore off and Miami picked holes in the defence masterfully.

Wade started bad, but Lebron keep them in it. They still wouldnt of won, because it takes more than 2 guys doing it all...Haslem stepped up very well in the end.

Indy shouldnt be too unhappy, they got some good production and Collison was great off the bench. I think they have to defend better in the half court, in terms of not getting caught watching the ball. Wade and Bron got ost of their points in the paint from simply cutting off the ball. The Pacers need to keep track of them and make them shoot jmpers..when they did that, both guys missed shots.

Also, they didnt get Hibbert nearly involved enough in the 2nd half..Miami have no real way of stopping him once he gets the ball.

Just so you know, Franchise, this is Griffin's 3rd year, not second. Unfortunately I couldn't watch Miami and I regret so. LeBron is INSANE!!! 40/18/9......wow!

Criticism of Griffin is warranted though..He can't play with his back to the basket (or really anywhere outside a 6 foot radius of the rim) and thats not exactly something easy to learn when you're already an NBA All-Star for a different way of playing

Criticism is fine, but I think its way over the top.

I mean, why dont we hear about how someone in their prime, Chris Paul was completely taken out 3 of the games, turned the ball over a ton and on top of that got burned by Parker?

Griffin is a young dude, still learning the game. He doesnt have much of a back to the basket game and struggles to make his own shot consistently..but he has shown flashes of the ability to do so.

Its not like a Dwight Howard, who has been in the league 6, 7, 8 years and still doesnt have it.

@Franchise, I tried to watch the Pacers/Heat game yesterday but I just couldn't get into it. I caught the beginning of the game and switched channels after 10-15 minutes. Did the game get better over time?

I think it did. Watching LeBron and Wade beast the second half was definitely worth watching. Pacers were competitive as well so it made for great viewing.

Yeah, I think it did. But im surprised you didnt like the start.

I was pretty fast paced for a playoff game, Pacers pulling the trigger when open, even if its the first shot. They started out on a 9-0 run which was quite fun to watch.

Perhaps I missed the 9-0 run and started watching a little bit after the start. I don't know what it was, maybe I've been spoiled by the Oklahoma City/Lakers series.

It had been quite some time since I had watched basketball (football had taken over my life) and I'm starting to get back into it; I can't remember exactly why I had stopped, but I'm just part of it was because the Suns window had closed. I don't have a favorite team at the moment and I'm not sure how to go about picking a new squad. I would go with the Knicks, but I'd like to avoid committing suicide.

I'm looking forward to playing again soon, just looking to get over a little hamstring injury.

Ah, you probably came in at the little spell after the first stages where it calmed down, Wade was missing shots and the Pacers bench came in and minus Collison and Barbosa...really sucked.
