Re: Black Beasts and other mythical creatures
Argentina's black beast is Germany? I seem to remember we bested you in 1986... and not since
(Kicked us out in 1990 final, 2006 and 2010, so 3 of the last 6 WCs , although tbf we really should've won in 2006 had Pekerman had the common sense to keep Riquelme on)

Bogey teams/players?
Which clubs and players always cause your favorite team the biggest problems(or have the best stats)?
For example for Barcelona:
Teams: Chelsea, Inter, Celtic, United at Old Trafford.
Players: Drogba, Prince-Boateng, Raul, C.R.

Re: Black Beasts and other mythical creatures
The one that sticks out for me is Hamsik, Pelissier is a handful, kicked us when we were down in 2011.
Don't have a bogey team at the moment but for a little while we couldn't do a damn thing against Palermo or Parma.

For Bayern, it is Podolski. Thank God he missed the 2nd leg or we would be out.

Teams: Everyone
Players: Everyone
In all seriousness, Rooney is our number one bogey player right now. Van Persie will probably become one. Drogba could play for Barnet and still score against us.
As for teams, we've beaten Stoke once away from home since they've come up into the Premier League, we don't seem to have much luck against Sunderland and Swansea seem to be turning into a team that is always annoying good against us.

Re: Black Beasts and other mythical creatures
Just off of observation:
Freidel always raises his game when playing against Man Utd for some reason. Arshavin could play a whole heap of bull for the entire season but raise his game against Liverpool. Bar Tuesday's performance, Kevin Boateng Prince would give Barcelona more reasons to think about him than they should. Bar this season, Osasuna was such a troll against Real Madrid (not just one player, the entire team).
Um, Z already pointed out Riki. Joaquin as well, my word, that man just always has a good game against us (or so it seems). Growing up, Rivaldo, Makaay, Tristan, Effenberg, Scholl, Karpin, Mostovoi, Vicente (top of my head) used to seem to always play well, really well against Real Madrid.
Regardless of how their season is going prior to that match.

Teams: Levante (always play 200% against us and bend over to Barcelona), Osasuna, Betis, Malaga, Getafe
Players: Antoine Griezmann, Xabi Prieto, de las Cuevas, Ángel Lafita, Beñat, Lass Bangoura, Sergio Ballesteros, Jesús Navas, Sergio García, Iago Aspas

Re: Black Beasts and other mythical creatures
Barca have also had consistent problems with Rubin Kazan.
Against us? Fiorentina and Napoli. Two very strong teams that (unfortunately in Napolis case as i am Napoletano) hate Juve and give 200% every time they play us. Doesnt help that theyre loaded with quality as well. They rarely ever actually win against us but always give us alot of trouble.Players in particular, Balotelli and Miccoli. Glad we didnt face City in the CL group syage cuz Balotelli always used to score against us when he was at Inter (albeit that was years ago when we were in a slump, same goes for Miccoli). Hope we rectify that later im the season against Milan.Hamsik was mentioned, i agree to a.point. Sometimes we completely shut him down like in the 3-0 win last season and this season too he hasnt given us too many problems, but then theres last years Coppa Italia final where he caused us (Caceres in particular) loads of problems. Hes not consistent with it though.
To all Real Madrid fans, Juve should be on your list of problematic teams for you, and Del Piero on yoir list of problematic players for you.
As i am also a Koln fan, i would also like to mention that Bayern consiatently has problems with Koln, and Podolski in particular.

Re: Black Beasts and other mythical creatures
Liverpool: Teams - Wigan, Stoke, Spurs, West Brom (from this season), Arsenal (over the years) Players - Hugo Rodallega, Benjani, Henry back in the day.
Madrid: Teams - Levante (probably the one that scares me most) Players - Riki is a good shout, Maakay an even better shout, Del Pierro, Messi
