What exactly is the point releasing it 11 months after MW3 ?

Speaking of MW3, my brother bought it but we got it really hard to connect online. Like we connect just fine but when we search for games it's a pain in the ass. Our NAT type will say open, we search, then it just says Ethernet cable disconnected, wait a few minutes, Ethernet magically reconnects and NAT goes to strict. Is my internet too slow?


This is one of the reasons i liked Killzone 2. You could always connect to a game and VERY rarely would you lose connection...

@RG: My nat type is nat type 2. My download speed used to be around 18mbps but is now around 10mbps for some unkown reason. It's broadband...

My internet is broadband, adsl2, nat type is 2, download speed of 10mbps (dropped down from 18mbps for some reason). I can play fifa, killzone 2 ( i used to), i played gta 4 on it but i could only have a certain number of people in the room, and gran turismo 5 (same as gta 4). But i can never go straight into a match in MW3...

You mean like how COD 3 released 12 months after COD 2, how COD:WAW released 12 months after COD 4, how Black Ops Released 12 months after MW2?

Didn't like Black Ops. The maps are boring.

Prefer the MW2 type maps and gameplay. MW2 type maps are fun.

IMO, MW2 maps were some of the best in the whole CoD series. The verticality of those maps (I.e. Rust) just made them so entertaining. I guess that's part of the reason why I don't really like these flat MW3 maps like Interchange and Liberation.

I would be the first one to buy a MW3 map pack that consisted of Rust, Terminal, Highrise and Favela

Yeh the Black Ops type maps on MW3 are kinda boring.

In regards to Black Ops 2 and knifing, I have two ideas:

1 - it's only a one hit melee kill IF you have a knife equipped as your secondary. A good melee weapon could be the ballistic knife or maybe a butchers knife. And you should be avle to get gold secondary weapons. Other secondary weapons include handguns and machine pistols (except no akimbo)

2 - if you hold down the zoom/ADS button whilst knifing, you'll do a special/finishing move (I.e. like the melee animations in BF3 and Crysis 2). These animations are slower however as you are vulnerable to be killed during the animation.

And some Black Ops 2 information was leaked. I can't remember all of it, but it included:

-Capturing a neutral flag, is worth 1 point, capturing an enem flag is worth 2 points

- Ammo, noob tubes, RPGs and other weapons will be available only via care packages

- the RCXD won't be returning

- the specialist strike package will now become available after 9/10 kills rather than 7/8

- NO nukes, MOABs

- support killstreaks will be balanced out (hopefully stealth bomber gets moved into assault killstreaks or completely take out of the game)

A Superior game in so many ways, that its quite sad people still waste their time in such primitive money eating garbage like COD.
