Ozil b4 he joined Real...

Abidal a few years back...

Valdles a few years back...

Steven Gerrard when he started at Liverpool way back

Aguero I Didnt rate him too much b4 he joined Man C...

Loads... Razz

Some players just exceed ur expectations, while at the same time, lots of others disappoint.

I thought Gago and not Higuain would remain at Real Madrid.

I thought Krasic would be better at Juve.

I thought Kjaer would move to a big club and be a star.

I didnt think Pepe would be play such a big role in juventus' season.

I too thought Andy Carrol would turn into a great striker after he scored 2 goals vs juventus a few years ago and his 1st half of last season. :facepalm:

Valdes is a good one.

For years, I hated his very essence...I was furious how we was still in goal after we signed Rustu.

Thought he was always destined for crap and constantly costing us.

But the last 4-5 seasons....amazing turn around.

Reina must have been worse. Laughing

Alexis Ruano was another one. I thought he'd be what Albiol is today. Piatti is currently decieving me as is Pablo and Feghouli.

Victor Ruiz is getting the hang of it but I honestly thought he'd be a little better.
