Just played against the Lakers with the Wizards online.. The guy just kept cherry picking with Kobe all game, what a pussy.. I was the Wizards ffs Mad

Been getting back into the sport in general over last season for first time since Kobe-Shaq days Laughing

Quite surprised to see how much the sport has changed but anyway is this any good and if so is it worth getting or should i wait for 2014?

It's good Mole, really good. The presentation is miles ahead of even FIFA and there are a lot of game modes, excellent online, pre match hype that makes you feel this is actually real, good sountrack and of course the gameplay is top notch. You should wait till 14, not too long left and judging by videos 2K is taking full advantage of next gen to make it even better.

I won't be getting a next gen console till next summer/autumn tbh so i probably won't be getting any 2014 sports title on next gen.

But anyway if its good i might see if i can get some cheap 2nd hand version and see if i like it and go from there.

2K13 is awesome and worth getting. Especially if you can get it for like 25 or less. The new one won't be out for a few months.

Like any sports game it's not perfect(which you'll find out quickly if you play online). Like Fifa there's cheese online. Most everyone picks the Heat and just isos with LeBron all game :facepalm:

Unstoppable once he starts the dunk animation(literally). But overall it's a lot of fun if you play against someone who doesn't cheese.

MyCareer mode is ahead of My Player for Fifa. I play that or Franchise the most. MyCareer is detailed as hell, like if you become respected enough in your organization, the GM may come to you and ask you to give him 5 names you would want the team to trade for. Or you can eventually get your own signature Nike Shoe and design it. Sponsorships, etc.

I probably wouldn't touch the online anyway so that doesn't concern me.

At least not at first anyway, can't be arsed getting destroyed as soon as i get the game put the practice in first.

Seen it going for about 20 so i'll probably get a copy this week.

Speaking of MyCareer:

Got drafted #9 overall as a PG by the Detroit Pistons. At the end of the 1st year, GM asks me 5 players I want them to try to trade for. I put down Rudy Gay, Paul George, K.Leonard, and a couple fall back choices, figured I'd never get the first 2. GM trades Monroe for George straight up, I was hyped Shocked

But the CPU GM control is :facepalm:

After the first year they signed 3+ PG's: Nate Robinson, Jarrett Jack, Jose Calderon. The only bigs on our roster are Drummond and Jonas Jerebko. WTF.

This is our lineup now in the 2nd year playoffs(ECF against Philly)

I'm a PG for the Brooklyn Nets atm, requested a trade from Hornets, since I simply can't stand the look of the arena and shirts, so they traded me for Deron Williams.
I'm at 88 OVR in the beginning of the second season, and the team is like this
PG: Me
SG: Joe Johnson
SF: Wallace
PF: humphries
C: Lopez
6th: Brooks
everything else is awful
won rookie of the year in the first season averaging 25 and 8 I think

I've played all of them, I don't remember the second specifically, I loved the latest one though... Good series as a whole

And Mole, if you play for interceptions you will get raped lol.. Just try your best to be patient and stay in front of your man, when they get in the lane then get a body on them to cause some contact and make things difficult

Mole, go search some forum or something for good sliders. Otherwise your just going to get pissed off by every scrub left right and center getting offensive rebounds.

Other than that, just like the boys said. Overall, you just go to know the players your playing against. Some of them you just want to let shoot and live with them making some but missing more, some you want to drive because they will struggle with the finish...or the cowards way and just let the CPU do all the work and you stay off man with the ball.

And yeah I played NBA street..1 and 2 were crazy...3 sucked complete ass, they ruined it with nonesense.
