Falcao and Hulk

If AVB signs with Chelsea, you know we are going to be linked with Hulk and Falcao. If AVB wants them, then we have a great chance.

Falcao he is a pure striker, would've been my #1 choice for the summer if we didn't have Torres. I don't think Chelsea will sign another striker beside Lukaku, but then again we know our history and obsession with strikers.

Hulk- I believe he would be a great signing and the best alternative to Neymar. He plays on the right side for Porto but if he comes i think he would play on the left.

I would much prefer Hulk to Falcao. If Falcao comes, that's surely the end at Chelsea for both Drogba and Anelka, and possibly Kalou and Sturridge. Hulk is a winger which we need more than another Striker.

Hulk would be pretty badass for Chelsea,he would add more creativity for sure.absolutely no need for falcao though

And like Gold said, with Lukaku coming we don't need another striker.

Paying a player buyout clause is rare, his valuation is somewhere between 25-30m. He would be perfect on the left or right side. He is the wing forward version of Drogba i actually like him a lot better then Neymar, who btw is pissing me off with the ambiguity about his future.

Edit: As i already said paying a player buyout clause is rare, Luiz buyout contract was 60m and in fact most players buyout clause is extremely high and they never get sold at that price.

btw Torres buyout clause is 1B, so is he worth 1B?

Why do i have the feeling that we will sign Falcao.

I don't Falcao would be wasted at us. We have enough strikers.

Not necessarily if Drogba leaves and we don't sign Lukaku.

He would be Torres backup, and adds another dimension to our attack.

I do like Hulk a lot, i hope he comes and i think we can sign him for 25m.

Drogba won't leave and Lukaku is almost 100% to join.

I'd love Hulk for 25m over Modric TBH.

Who knows AVB might not fancy Lukaku, and AVB will decide our current squad future.

AVB is one of the most wanted manager in the world, and i don't think he would come to Chelsea if he didn't have a big say on who should come and go.

I believe he should reshuffle the squad, if not i think he will fail. He should have a squad better suited for his style.

I don't think he's going to have a big say in Lukaku's deal TBH.

Managers don't have a big say in our signings so I doubt a new one will be able to change what seems to be a done deal.

He could have a say on Modric/Pastore though.

If AVB is not going to have a big say in transfers, then he should not take the job. In fact Roman should not even bother signing a new manager if that is the case. You sign a new manager to give a club a new direction and approach, it won't happen if the same people are making the decision under the old and new manager.

Look at Barca, when Pep arrived he kicked out a lot of big egos, and it did wonder for the club. Boas needs to do the same.

I believe he will get the same power as Mourinho, so i see a bright future for the club.

It will be interesting to see what transfers he would make.

TBH Even if Lukaku isn't his style Lukaku is young enough to be molded into a player he likes.

Roman would be crazy to not give him the same power as Mourinho IMO.

hulk is very unlikely, he just recently signed a new contract at porto

also it could be a tricky deal to make cause porto dont own all of his rights

Sure I can afford both of em and still some more.. but

Sturridge performs his best when he's either on the right wing, or in central. We'll be killing his career by placing him on the left. I admired Hulk for a very long time but I'd rather see Sturridge given his well deserved chance [and he is considered home-grown] before I waste money on Hulk

Falcao on the other hand is very different. We don't need him if Lukaku is on his way and if Drogba is staying; both looking very likely.

He can but he is at his most lethal on the right when he can shoot with his preferred left foot
