Turnover as far as I was aware is a loss of possession to the other side, but I imagine shots, goals and offsides do not count as such in football.

Apparently his injury is serious.He has edema on his shins.From the little I read it can be a serious condition and in rare cases even life threatening.
He has been advised complete rest for 2 months.
Sincerely hope that its nothing serious and he recovers fully very quickly.
He is the Ronaldinho of midfield players with a touch of Xavi and Iniesta thrown in.

Hmm.Never really thought of that.We buy Fagregas and all of a sudden have a nightmare injury season.

Its bad luck and a bad preseason last year, nothing more. The important thing is that we don't rush him, we don't need to.

Very disappointing... Thiago's the player I most look forward to this season. One of my favourite players to watch. Speedy recovery and then I hope he has a good year.

Fraked up, this. Let's hope he doesn't miss too much of the start of the season. I've become a HUGE fan of the guy and I hope he'll be able to really step it up this season. He just needs to keep developing and gain a consistently high level and he'll become a Barça legend. No doubt.

Feel sorry for the guy... Will come useful and will be more productive with the suide since Kieta has gone!

He's progressing in training nicely. I reckon 2-3 weeks. He's already doing dynamic exercises on the training pitch.

No more Cesc 'The Lost Lamb Useless' Fabregas.Time for Thiago to start and for Cesc to take his rightful place on the bench.

Thiago will now be piling on the pressure on Cesc to improve his game.

I just want to see Villa as the striker again. We have a striker, then we should use one. Cesc is a midfielder who can't fit his game in to our style of play and if he plays false 9 then he is also not as good as Villa or Messi in that position. Villa on the wing is not bad, but we have Pedro, Sanchez, Delefou, Tello, Cuenca who are all naturally better at that role than him. So all in all, I think Cesc should be behind all the people I just mentioned instead of starting ahead of them

There is this fear among many that Thiago will not get enough time and he'll be pushed out of the Barca squad at some point because of Cesc's purchase.

I don't agree. He's too good and Barca aren't idiots. He'll just keep performing and he'll become a star for us, I have no doubts. Cesc has to perform as well. If anything he's more likely to leave at some point. Thiago is just so good, I see him forcing his way in no matter what.
