RVP doesn't deserve it because he hasn't been exceptional this month by his standards. Scoring loads of goals and saving Arsenal, just business as usual for RVP

Was a ok month for RVP, no reason give him the player of the month.

Scholes won't get player of the season, as he wasn't involved during the start, where he was out, because he announced his retirement. There are a few strong contenders: Carrick, Aguero, Silva, Yaya Toure and van Persie. Either one of them can so easily win it, as they have all be nothing short of world class this season, but it will probably go to the player who wins the league. I am not referring to the awards before the league end, as they are lol-worthy, like Bale won the Young Player of the Year award ahead of Nani last season etc.

I couldn't care how much praise a player gets, it bears no relevance or significance to how good that player is on the pitch. With Carrick, you have the best holding midfielder in the league, by far, this season, without a question of doubt. To see him being criticised heavily and being deemed as a liability, to be an integral part of our squad and a role model brings joy because it's what he deserves. However, he probably won't get it and not because he hasn't had recognition, because commentators have signalled praise more often this season than not, but because attacking players are usually slightly more favoured.

If Newcastle get top 4 it should be Ba, if Arsenal do then RVP.

A city player? Silva.

RVP will win player of the year, only other completion is Silva.
