Banega is as defensively solid, if not more than Biglia though. Just because he has recently being played as an AM doesn't mean he can't defend. I feel that he's the most natural fit for Gago's role and wonder why Augusto is ahead of him in the pecking order.

Would prefer to see Colo over Fernandez and Campagnaro over Rojo as well.

Gino Peruzzi was called up too, him at RB and Zaba at LB would probably be better than Rojo and probably Campagnaro too.


BC, what do you think of the title race?

I think the fact that River is competing for the title says all you need to know about the quality of the tournament. We are awful and somehow top 3. I would obviously love for us to win, but I can't see it happening and refuse to let my hopes up. Newell's would be a worthy winner.

Also the new system is downright stupid. Since Velez know they are already playing the final, they couldn't care less in this tournament. If they end up winning the title it'll be a disgrace.

Jack of all trades, master of none. And very inconsistent.

He was great in second division, this year he has failed to impress at all levels. Definitely not the time for him to move to Europe, I still believe in him because he is one of our more technical midfielders who shows glimpses of being able to control tempo and that's something we lack at the moment. Still young and developing though.
