Get rid of "drop shotting"
Nuke jumping. This isn't Halo.
And we got ourselves an actually playable game.
That knifing premise is a good idea.
Maybe not get rid of drops hitting but maybe perhaps reduce the time it takes to go prone.
Nuke jumping is not a major problem in CoD.
They also need to take out ghost/assassin and marksman. Just ditch that whole thing. OR make if you want a silencer, you can't have assassin. If you want assassin, you can't have a silencer. I know there are technical issues with this but I'm on my phone atm and can't be bothered typing more.
Just chill till next generation consoles

Re: Call of Duty> You Thread.
I think they need to sort out the panic knifing. If you're getting shot at you shouldn't be able to knife.
Other than that they need to fix the lag and they need to stop making all the maps so complicated.
Pretty much all the MW3 DLC maps suck. MW2 maps were the best. There's no fun maps in MW3. Like highrise, terminal, skidrow etc were all fun to play.

What pisses me off is the lack of Night maps
There should be at least one map where it's dark

Re: Call of Duty> You Thread.
Best MW3 maps:
Seatown, Dome, Bakaara, Bootleg, Lockdown, Underground, Mission
Actually Bakaara is on the brink of that category but I like the map.
I think the lack of night maps would have something to do with visibility of different things. You could camp in corners so easily on night maps and it would be difficult as f** to spot a spyplane on a night.

Re: Call of Duty> You Thread.
I wonder if they'll ever have a map creator, where people can create their own maps.
My ideal map would be:
MW2 map colours, definitely not Black Ops.
One side vs the other.
Not too many objects and not cluttered.
A few buildings with multiple floors. Similar to those on favela, bakaara and skidrow. One of those buildings being similar to the ones on highrise.
Medium sized.
Bright and not dull.
The MW truck that's on scrapyard and other maps.
3 line type map. Similar to highrise, where there's 2 narrow ways to rush and 1 big middle area. Skidrow same thing and terminal too.

Speaking of maps. Why didn't IW bring the classic building vs building map?

And Black Ops had Nuketown, which was a poor man´s version of both. Regardless, all of these maps have been among the most popular ones in the series, so yeah.. I don´t get why they didn´t make one for MW3.

Nuketown was more of a rust/dome?

Perhaps, but I still liked Nuketown more than both Rust and Dome. For me, people who camped inside or on top of that large construction in the middle of the map ruined Rust (especially OMA-tubers), and I hate starting inside the building on Dome (S&D), because good/decent teams make it damn hard for you to get out of that building, unless you have a good team and the other team sucks. Nuketown is simple.. 2 buildings, equal opportunities for both teams, regardless of which side you start on. A lot of people tend to camp inside of those two, small houses, but those were relatively easy to flash out, because Nuketown doesn´t have all of those super annoying obstacles that most of the more recent maps have.

If you start inside the building on dome, best thing to do is quickly rush out the back and look through that crate thing for oncoming rushers.

Yeah, but there´s a sniping camp spot right down by the bomb there, so you won´t be able to stay there for very long if you play against a decent team. How many times have you done that and survived? lol

If you don't see any rushers, then you can go straight, shown in the image below. There's a few hiding spots there in case you need to hide.

Re: Call of Duty> You Thread.
I looked at my stats and I've got a 2.8 K/D this week as a 2.7 W/L ratio.
Not to bad if I say so myself, especially since i've been going all out for wins this week (trying to get a positive W/L. 40 wins away at the moment)

lol, thats exactly what I do. I almost always make it across without getting killed.
Roaming the Site B area usually is an effective way of getting a shitload of kills.

Re: Call of Duty> You Thread.
I´ve been doing it for months, but recently I´ve encountered people camping behind the concrete platform, right around the corner in that screenshot, as well as campers by the A bomb, making it pretty damn hard to get through that way, unless you have team mates to back you up. Against good teams, it´s near impossible to get out either way. Krom´s team isn´t particularly good at keeping the opponent team inside the building, but we usually still win. With noob, random teams, it´s usually best to stay inside the building, unless the opponent team sucks.. in which case, you can just run outside and take them all out, hoping that your team doesn´t kill anyone
